The Future is Now

Jacks POV:
I woke up the next morning with the worst hangover ive ever had. My head hurt so bad and i was so nauseous, i felt so missrable. I felt the room start to spin and i felt like i was gonna puke. I got up and ran out of the room, hitting my head on the doorframe on the way out making the headache i had worse. I got in the bathroom and Melinda was in the shower, i kneeled down infront of the toilet and threw up. A few minutes later Melinda got out of the shower, she put a towel on and glared at me and sighed and then left. After i was done in the bathroom i went to the kitchen and Melinda was cooking.

"Hey babe" i said sitting at the table

"Hi" she said not looking at me

"I feel so sick" i said

"Well thats what you get for drinking your body weight in alcohol" she said with a attitude and turned off the stove and put somthing on a plate and sat at the table

"Whats wrong?" i asked

"Nothing Jack" she sighed annoyed

"Talk to me, its obvious that your mad. What happened?" i asked

"Its you, you came home totally wasted Jack. Last night was just-...forget it" she said

"No tell me" i said

"You said some stuff, and what you said really hurt to hear. It was like a punch in the face" she said

"What did i say?" i asked

"You said you were responsible for the baby dying, Jack. I didnt wanna hear about it anymore i wanted to just move on. And you just made everything worse" she said

"What?, babe im so sorry. I really dont remember that and i swear i didnt mean it. Im so so sorry" i said

"Mhmm. Never drink again. That was so messed up, i dont care if it was the alcohol" she said tearing up

"Well i mean if you didnt make me go out and drink with Alex, this wouldnt have happened" i said and she got up and threw her coffee cup at me and i dodged it

"Screw you!" she said

"Are you insane!" i yelled

"Dont blame this on Alex, its not his responsibility to make sure you dont drink excessivly. You could've controlled yourself. And you know what Jack. When your drunk your thoughts from your subconcious come out. So you really believe you killed our baby!. Im having a hard enough time dealing with all this, and then you had to go and say somthing so horrible that will stick with me" she yelled at me

"Whatever your being so damn psychotic" i said

"I have a good reason to be!" she said

"Your insane" i said

"Whatever Jack, im leaving i'll see you later" she said getting up and leaving

I went back to our room and lied down in bed, i was so exhausted. I fell asleep and woke up a little while later and Melinda still wasnt home. I was pretty worried, she'd been gone for like two hours. I called her and she didnt answer. I sighed and threw my phone down mad. A little while later while i was laying on the couch the door opened. I looked up and it was Sophie and Alex.

"Hey" Alex said

"Hi" i said

"How you feeling?" he asked

"Super fantastic, I have a splitting migraine" i said sarcastic and he laughed softly

"Wheres Melinda?" Sophie said

"No idea" i said

"What do you mean?" she said

"I dont no where she went, we had a huge fight and she stormed out" i said

"Jack" Alex sighed

"What!?" i said mad

"What the hell did you do!?" he said

"Nothing shes just mad i made her upset last night" i said

"I dont blame her" he said

"She threw a damn mug at my head!, shes so pissed at me and i feel really guilty" i said

"Your joking" he said

"She was really pissed dude" i said

"Wow" he said and the door opened and Melinda walked in

"Melinda!" i said

"Hey guys" she said

"I was so worried, where'd you go?" i said

"My moms" she said

"Oh" i said

"Mhmm" she said

"You dont hate me right?" i asked

"Of course not Jack, i was just pissed off. And kinda still am. But you know i could never stay mad at you. I love you" she said

"Me to. Lets just ignore everything thats happened and move on, agreed?" i said

"Agreed" she said and hugged me and i kissed her

"Awww" Alex and Sophie said
