I Can Keep a Secret

Amberlyns POV:
I drove Alex to the hospital, he was quiet the entire time. I wasnt sure if he was quiet because of the fight or the pain. We got into the hospital and they took him back for X-rays, i just waited in a examination room. Alex came back with a ice pack and sling. A little while later the doctor came in with the results.

"So Alex, we have the X-rays back" the doctor said

"Is it sprained?" Alex asked

"You have a small fracture. The way you landed on it sounded pretty bad, im surprised its not worse" she said

"Damn, so what are we gonna do?" Alex asked

"Well were gonna put it in a cast for about six weeks" she said

"Damnit!" he said

"It'll be fine, it could be worse. You could need surgery to get pins in your wrist" i said

"Exactly" the doctor said

"Whatever" he sighed

"I hope you swallow pills okay because your getting a prescription for some medicine to control pain and swelling" the doctor said

"So i will be in pain over the next few weeks?" he said shocked and the doctor nodded

The doctor casted up Alexs hand and we were able to leave. We got home and Jack was sitting on the couch. Alex sat on the other couch and avoided any eye contact with Jack, he really was super pissed. I went and got myself some water and Alex some water. When i came back Jack pulled me into the kitchen, i pulled away harshly.

"What the hell!?" i said

"I wanna talk" he said

"You couldve just said something. You didnt need to manhandle me" i said

"Whatever!. So what happened?" he asked

"Alexs wrist is fractured" i said

"Damnit!" he said

"Well thats what happens when you jump someone and they land on their hand" i said

"I didnt jump him" he said

"Whatever, hes injured thanks to you. You seriously are taking this way to far. I mean i know you two tell everyone everything but honestly i had a part in keeping this a secret so you should hate me as well" i said

"I know, and i dont hate you at all. I don't know...i feel guilty" he said

"So apologize." i said

"Mkay" he said and we went into the livingroom

"Alex, Jack needs to say something" i said

"Alex, im so so so sorry!. I didnt mean to injure you!, i hate this fighting and i wanna end it. So accept my apology?" he said

"Im gonna go to bed. Inflammation is bothering me" Alex said leaving the room

"What the hell. He was so into the whole making up thing and now hes dissing me?!" Jack said

"I dont blame him" i said

"Screw you" he said and flipped me off

Later i went to bed, i was exhausted from the day. I woke up at like 3 am to Alex getting in my bed whinning. Hes such a girl when it comes to pain. I woke up the next morning and went into the kitchen to make coffee, Jack was already doing it. I went and leaned against the counter next to him.

"Hey" i said

"Hey" he said

"Making your favorite sister some yummy coffee before work?!" i said

"No. I was making it for me, but i guess i can make you a cup" he said

"Good" i said

"Morning" Alex said walking out

"Hey. Hows the arm?" i asked

"Fine. Hurts pretty bad though" he said

"I bet" i said

"Alex listen dude. I feel super bad about breaking your wrist or fracturing it or whatever. I want to end all this fighting, i love you man so will you forgive me?" Jack said and Alex smiled

"I guess so, i mean you are my bestest friend ever. Plus we work together so i mean we need to get along" Alex said

"So bestest friends again?" Jack said

"Of course" Alex said and Jack hugged him

"Awww you two are so cute!" i said

"Yeah. Oww! my arm!" Alex said and winced as Jack squeezed him tight

"Sorry!" Jack said letting him go

"Its fine" Alex said

"I feel like i owe you, you know since i broke you. What can i do for you?" Jack said and Alex laughed

"I dont no man. Take me to fill my prescription, this pain is insane" Alex said

"Deal" Jack said

"Alright i need my coffee and a banana and im out" i said and made my breakfast and went to the store

I spent most of my day helping customers and doing inventory. I felt very content, Jack and Alex were friends again and i got to keep my relationship. While i was taking shirts out of a box Zack and Rian walked in, Rian looked like he was on a mission.

"Please, please, please tell me they made up!" Rian said

"Who?, Jack and Alex?" i asked

"Yes!" he said

"They did. Well they did after Alex got his wrist broken by Jack" i said

"Your kidding!" he said

"Nope" i said

"Dammit!. Okay well ive been trying to call both of them all day and their not answering their phones. We've got stuff to discuss" he said

"Like what?" i asked

"We have a tour coming up. Clearly Alex cant play guitar during it but im sure we can find someone to fill in for him on that" he said

"You guys are leaving me!?" i said

"Yes. Your welcome to come with" he said

"I dont know, i have a store" i said

"Thats what the assistant manager is for. So you can do whatever you want!" he said

"I dont know" i said

"Well think about it. In the mean time, where the hell are those two?" he asked

"No clue. CVS probably" i said

"Why?" he asked

"Alex has a prescription for some medicine" i said

"Ohhh. Well were gonna hunt them down, you should consider the tour. You'd have a blast" he said

"I definitely will" i said

"Good. See you later" he said and they left
