Snow White was the fairest maiden in the land. The story goes that her jealous stepmother disguised herself as an old peddler woman and poisoned her beautiful stepdaughter with an enchanted apple, trapping her in an eternal sleep. The spell could only be broken by love's first kiss. That's not quite how it happened. Here is the real story of the girl with hair black as ebony, skin white as snow, and lips of deep, blood red.
