Zacky doesn't expect much from his dark and lonely life. He's starting to get annoyed with the patter. Visit his dad, fight with his sister, get yelled at by mom, get made fun of for being a were-kitty and going to sleep and school. As Zack finally gets ready to accept the mundane ritual, he meets Synyster Gates or Brian Haner in a chat room. Can this human boy bring light into Zack's night time life and be his MIDNIGHT SUN?

Brian Haner or Synyster Gates, as he's known with his fake I.D., is your average teen. He;s confident and cocky. He's happy with his life, but is upset he hasn't found anyone remotely special. He lives to play his guitar and hang out with his friends Johnny, Jordan, and Jamie. Brian os ready to settle for the next best thing, a boy named Jacoby, when he meets Zacky Vengeance online. Brian finds a challenge in shy boy. Can Brian be Zack's MIDNIGHT SUN and how will he react when he finds out Zack's secrets?
