I was a country girl, like one of the ones you might see in movies. But not one of the slutty ones, the ones who always got the guys, the one who owned the cutest pair of short shorts in the school, the ones who gave the greatest kisses. No, I was that plain Jane girl you might see in the background. The one who loves animals and doesn’t care about getting dirty, the one that dared to wear overalls to school one day, the girl who rarely took her hair out of a ponytail.
