I looked for the nearest exit so that when I yelled, it wouldn’t ruin the party. I saw a sign over a door that said PATIO and I headed for it. I opened to door and looked around, making sure that there wasn’t anybody around. I headed to a corner of the patio, pulling Karrueche behind me.
“WHAT – THE - FUCK - WAS - THAT?” I asked her slow and sternly, spacing out the words, trying to keep my composure

I was literally in a state of shock when I turned on the lights of the club. All my family and friends were there. I’m not used to being the one getting the surprise, I’m usually the one giving the surprises. Taylor and Tammy really got me this time. I was thinking that we were going to have a quiet little get together at Taylor’s house for my birthday. Just family, good food, and games and everything; I had no idea that I was going to be parting all night, but I wasn’t mad about it at all.
“Hey baby boy, happy birthday” Caitlin smiled as I gave her a huge hug. I was very surprised to see her, she’s like another sister. I met Caitlin when I went to visit Taylor and Matthew in Houston a few years back and she immediately started treating me like a lil brother. “Wowww, Caitlin, I can’t believe you’re here. Did you just get in? Tammy, this is Caitlin, Taylor’s bestfriend and my sister from another mother” I laughed as I introduced the two ladies

I walked around and spoke to everybody. Most of my family was there, and my godparents were even there too. I was really happy to see them, even though I talk to my Uncle Steve at least twice a week. He was Chris’s mentor as well. I got fussed at by Uncle Steve because I didn’t tell him that Taylor and Chris were dating, but I told him that he taught me to stay out other folks business and it wasn’t my place to relay that information to anybody. I spoke to everyone, making my way towards the front of the dance floor before I could do anything else.

TAYLOR POV
So far so good, with the exception of Picahoe’s ass showing up with my cousin, but I’ll take care of her ass later, right now, it’s all about Justin Jerad Martin. Chris took my hand and helped me walk up the stairs to the stage as GT tossed him a microphone again. He turned it on and handed it to me. It was time to get the show started so that we could present the birthday cake to Justin.
“Excuse me, can I have everyone’s attention for a few minutes please?” I spoke into the microphone. People started to turn to look at me as the room got quiet
“Again, I’d like to thank all of you for coming out to celebrate this special day for my baby brother. We have had a great time tonight, and it’s about to get better. I will let you all get back to partying amongst yourselves in a few, but first, it’s time to wish Justin a Happy Birthday, so lets get this show started” I said, raising my voice a little on the last part.
“Didn’t know you were getting a show did you baby boy?” I laughed at the look on Justin’s face, as he shook his head no. “Ok ya’ll, to kick things off, my homie, Drake has something he wants to say” I smiled stepping to the side as Drake made his way to the stage
“First off, Happy Birthday to the homie J Dub. Man dawg, I know you’re thinking the same thing I was.
I know way too many people here right now that I didn't know last year

“Again, Happy Birthday homie” Drake said before handing me back the mic and leaving the stage.
“Did you like that Jus? I knew you would, but we’re not done yet, there’s a few more people that have something to say to you too. Is there a DJ here?” I asked looking around
“I gotcha Tay” DJ Khaled said coming up behind me as the crowd cheered.
“Sup homie, Happy Birthday man, from where I’m standing it’s looking like you’re winning” Khaled said as T-Pain hit the stage

“Happy Birthday hunny” Nicki smiled before leaving the stage and handing me back the mic, as the crowd cheered.
“Oh we’re not done yet” I smiled “This one is my favorite” I winked at Justin as Chris came up behind me, kissing my cheek as I handed him the microphone
“Damn, whose that, she fine as hell” Chris smiled, biting his bottom lip, taking the microphone making the crowd laugh and me blush. “Look Happy Birthday bro. I just want to say thank you for allowing me to be apart of something so great, not just your family, but this club to. So to all your haters standing outside TRYING to look in, I just wanna know
How you gonna hate from outside the Spot, you can’t even get in…..LEGGOOOO” he smiled and GT dropped the Look At Me Now beat and Chris went into his verse before Busta surprised ALL of us by hitting the stage followed by Wayne. When they finished, GT dropped the Snapbacks Back beat and Tyga ran up and killed it with Chris. The crowd went crazy. I had gone down on the floor to stand with my family and enjoy my baby’s performance. I couldn’t help but smile at the look on my brother’s face and how much love was in the room. Then I looked up and watched my baby perform and it brought an even bigger smile to my face to watch him do what he loved doing. The crowd was going wild singing along to Chris and Tyga, I had gotten so into it that I forgot that I was supposed to be getting back on stage to get ready to present the birthday cake.
“Happy Birthday bro” Tyga said before leaving the stage.
Chris stood there looking around “Has anybody seen our sexy hostess? I hope I didn’t scare her away, I was hoping to get her number tonight” he said as I walked up the stairs, and everybody laughed
“Here I am” I replied coming up behind him
“Oh ok, ummm whatcha doing later tonight after this?” he flirted in the mic
“I don’t know, I have to see, did you have anything in mind?” I flirted back as everyone laughed at us and I smiled at them
“I was thinking maybe we could hit up a Waffle House or something. Do you have a man?” he winked at the audience
I bit my bottom lip and smiled “Why, you got somebody in mind for me?” I asked
“Yeah me” he smiled
“Oh ok, well, you’ll have to take that up with my brother, he’s very protective of me” I bit my bottom lip looking down at Justin
“Oh ok, say homie, would it be okay if I took your sister out after this?” Chris asked Jus handing him the mic for his reply
“You good bro, she’s all yours” Justin smiled into the microphone before handing it back to Chris
“See he said it’s cool, so can I take you out?”
“If he says it’s okay, then it’s okay with me” I smiled as he stepped close to me and gave me a big hug. “Anyway, back to the show. Oh baby, you know this means you have to take me to Waffle House when we leave tonight” I smiled at Chris and he nodded his head “Just making sure you know that, anyway, what would a birthday party be without the newest birthday anthem” I said as Trey made his way to the stage and GT started the music to Bottoms Up. He performed a killa set that of course included Nicki killing her verse as always.
“Happy Birthday dude” Trey said before taking a step back.
“Ok, did ya’ll enjoy that? Justin did YOU enjoy that?” I asked as he smiled and nodded his head. “Ok good, now I want you to join me up here” I instructed as he made his way up the stairs of the stage. Tammy was behind the stage ready to roll the cake out with Nicki. Justin walked over to me and gave me a big hug. “ I just wanted this to be a special and memorable birthday for you baby boy. And by the look on your face, I can tell it is a special day for you. Now for the grand finale” I said as GT played a drum roll and Nicki and Tammy rolled out the cake. Just as they hit the center of the stage with the cake, GT played Stevie Wonder’s HHappy Birthday to You right on cue . Justin just smiled the biggest smile I had ever seen him make and bowed, his hands in the praying position, thanking everyone.
Chris handed him a microphone ”I just want to thank all of you for coming out tonight, this has been the best birthday ever. Thank you to my family for even doing this for me. I do however have something I want to say to someone very special to me” Justin said taking Tammy’s hand. I leaned up against Chris’s body as he wrapped his arm around my waist.
Justin kneeled down on one knee and took Tammy’s left hand in his “Tamala Marie Wilson, you are my bestfriend and my lover, you’ve been there through everything and I can’t imagine you not being there for everything. Will be the first and last face I see everyday for the rest of our lives?” he asked as tears streamed down her face. She smiled and speechlessly nodded her head as he placed the engagement ring on her finger. He stood from his knee and she threw her arms around his neck as everyone applauded. I tried my best not to cry as Chris leaned over and pecked my hair.
