In the Name of Love

“Does he always take this long?” Reika asked impatiently. Kakashi was about 45 minutes later.

“He’s been way later before. We just get use to it.” Sakura answered her. Just then Kakashi appeared and said,

"Sorry, I got lost on the road of life." Reika shook her head. She couldn't believe what she had gotten into. Her team was the crazy Naruto Uzumaki, the love struck Sakura Haruno, the jerk Sasuke Uchiha, and the all too happy Kakashi Hatake.

'Someone save me.' Reika thought to herself.

"Well then, lets get moving." Kakashi said as the five of them started to ran through the treetops.

After about three hours of running the group stopped to have lunch in a very small clearing in the trees. The five of them were sitting around a little fire eating instant ramen when Kakashi said,

"Okay Reika, tell us a little bit about yourself." Reika looked at Kakashi with an evil eye before saying,

"My name is Reika Iduha. I'm a fourteen year old chunin from the Hidden Leaf Village. There is the little bit about me." With that she got up and put her empty bowl in her pack and jumped to the top of a nearby tree. She just stood on the tip of the tree, feeling the wind in her hair, and thought,

'Only if that day had never happened.' Then she hear Sasuke from the bottom of the tree yelling,

"Reika! We're leaving!" Reika jumped down from the tree and landed on her feet in front of Sasuke.

"The others are up ahead waiting for us." Sasuke told her.

"Fine." Reika said as she went over to get her pack. That's when it hit her, she remembered why the name Uchiha sounded familiar, and she hit herself. It was the name that she hated. She turned around so fast Sasuke didn't see it coming, and she punched him in the face. Now her blood was boiling. She hated the name Uchiha, and she had her reasons why.

Sasuke stood up and yelled, "What the heck are you doing?"

Reika looked him in the eyes and said, "I hate the name Uchiha." Sasuke looked confused.

"Why?" he asked. She charged at him and yelled,

"Because it belongs to him." Sasuke dodged a wild punch at his head just as the others showed up.

"What's going on here?" Kakashi asked.

"She just attacked me." Sasuke said as he dodged another punch at his head but got hit in the stomach, causing him to cough up blood as he went flying. She ran at him but Kakashi landed on her, and sat on her back. She was pinned. Sakura and Naruto ran over to Sasuke but he didn't except their help, instead he walked over to Reika and asked,

"Who is 'him'?" Reika heard by the tone in his voice he was fierce. Reika looked at him and angrily said,

"I think you already know who." Sasuke knelt down so he could look her in the eye and said,

"Don't ever say I'm anything like him." before he sat down to relax.

Kakashi got off of Reika's back when he was sure she had cooled off. She walked over to where Sasuke was sitting alone and sat down beside him.

"I'm sorry for attacking you, I know you're not him but I've been trying to find him for so long. Argh, the thought of him make my blood boil."

Sasuke nodded and agreed, "You said it."

Reika looked at him, then asked, "What did Itachi ever do to you, Sasuke?"

Sasuke looked at her and said, "He killed our whole clan, ever our parents, and he just left me alive."

Reika was shocked, she didn't know Sasuke was Itachi's brother and what Itachi had done to their clan. But then Sasuke broke her out of her thoughts.

"Okay, I told you now you tell me. Why do you hate Itachi?" Reika looked at him and said,

"Come on, I have to tell all of you this." Then Reika and Sasuke got up and walked over to the campfire with the others, it was nearly dark. After the two of them had sat down, Sasuke turned to her and said,

"Now you can say it." Everyone looked Reika and she said,

"Okay I'm going to tell everyone why I attacked Sasuke, but I have to start this from the very beginning."

"Okay," Sasuke said, "Keep going." 

Reika looked at them and said, "For starters, my name isn't Reika Iduha."
