I Love You, Why Can't You Love Me?

I walked up the steps to our apartment complex after getting back from Brian's house.
I got to our floor and walked to the door.
But what I saw taped on the door stopped me from going any further.
A pink paper was taped.
An eviction notice.
Why didn't Lilly tell me we were having financial problems?!
I ripped the paper off and unlocked the door rushing in and slamming it.
I walked to the bar table and set the paper down getting my phone out dialing Lilly's number.

"Hello?"
"Lillianna why do we have an eviction notice taped to our fucking door?!"
"Shit. I meant to tell you. I really did. But I didn't want your time with Brian ruined."

I sighed in frustration.

"Lilly this is more important. WE ARE BEING KICKED OUT ON THE FUCKING STREETS!"
"DON'T YOU THINK I FUCKING KNOW THAT?!"

I sighed thinking of what to do.

"Where will we go? We have a month to get out..."
"I'm going to move back in with my mom."
"I'll call Brian. Hopefully he doesn't mind..."
"I'm sure he wont. Look I gotta go. I'm at my moms as we speak."
"Alright. Bye."

I hung up and put the phone on the counter before rubbing my face and groaning.

"Fuck my life..." I breathed.

Suddenly my phone went off.
I jumped and calmed down before answering.

"Hello?" I said irritated.
"Belle? Everything alright?" Brian asked.

I sighed.

"No. Lilly and I are being evicted."
"What? Did you know?"
"No. She didn't want to ruin my happiness."
"Thats sweet of her. Where are you going to go?"
"She's staying at her moms. I'm technically fucked as of right now..."
"Belle. You have a place to go."
"No I don't. I'm not going back to my mother."
"No no. Come live with me."
"Really?" I asked surprised.
"Yes. This has always been your home."
"Do you know how much I fucking love you right now?"

He chuckled.

"Want me to come over and help you pack?"
"That would be very helpful."
"Be over in ten."
"I love you."
"I love you too."

Brian helped me pack up my room and everything of mine in the livingroom.
We brought everything to his house.
I still had the den and the kitchen but i'd go back for it all later.
Brian insisted I share his room with him.
I felt it wasn't right since we just got together but I gave in.
I would climb in his bed with him anyway when I needed a cuddle buddy.
I sat on the couch next to him and leaned my head onto his shoulder.

"Thank you for letting me stay."
"I was going to ask you to move in with me anyway."

I lifted my head and looked at him.

"Why?"
"Belle, I understand you think we're going to fast. But we've known each other since high school. Why not? I love you so much. I have to be honest I had feelings for you when I was with Ashley..."
"What?"
"Yeah..." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

I leaned up and kissed his cheek and then looked at him smiling.

"I love you too."

He smiled and pressed his lips to mine.
I kissd back and wrapped my hands around his neck.
He broke the kiss only so he could carry me to his bedroom.
Once we got in he shut his door.

This was the advantage of living with him.
No worries about letting Lilly know I wouldnt be home.
