We're Complete Opposites But I Still Love You

I was laying on my bed so my back was facing the door when my door opened.
I felt the bed dip and arms snake around me.
Jason.
I had been crying the while time he'd been at practice.

"Somethings up. You can trust me, Teal." He whispered.

I sighed and turned over in his arms.
I looked at him frowning letting more tears fall.
His face turned concerned and he wiped them away.

"What happend?"

I closed my eyes blinking away the tears.

"Parker." He tensed. "He told me something." I sighed. "About you."
"What, Babe?" He was anxious now.
"He said you cheated on me with Stephanie." I sobbed. "I didn't believe him. But i let it get to me. I've been consumed in my thoughts all day and I just....I don't know...I got lost." I choked out.

His hand came up to my cheek caressing it.

"I don't know why he would say that but just know I love you too much to cheat. To let go of such a great and beautiful girl is just stupid."
"I love you too."

I whispered and looked into his blue eyes.
I laid my head on his chest as he ran his hands though my hair conforting me.

"Jason! Teal!"

We heard Sam yell.
Jason sighed as I sat up.
We both walked down the stairs and found him in the livingroom with a woman.
She had blonde hair and blue eyes.
A fake smile and fake boobs.
She was another Barbie.

"This is Victoria." Sam said.

I noticed they were holding hands.

"Dad, who exactly is this?" Jason asked.
"Excuse my son, Jason. He isn't always using the manners I taught him."
"I'm sorry but I don't know her."
"I'm your father's girlfriend."

That one word stopped Jason's world as I would soon find out.

The last couple of days Jason hasn't talked to me or looked at me.
I've been miserable.
He's been mean and horrible to me.
Well when he pays attention to me at least.
Sam is close to never home.
I havent eaten in two days.
Not that anybody cares.
I've considered ending it.
Ending this life for me.
But not by cutting.
I found a bridge in the neighborhood.
A black bridge.
It looks old.
Might do some damage or do what I want.
I slipped on my vans and walked out of my room and passed His room.
He was blaring music.
I almost got to the door when He walked out.

"Have you finally decided to leave?"
"No i'm just taking a walk."
"Don't come back."
"I'm not. You'll be somewhat happier anyway."

I spat back before slamming the door and walking to the bridge ten minutes away in the deep forest.
I pushed back a few branches and saw it.
It was perfect.
I walked onto it and it creaked.
Good maybe it'll break.
I got onto the railing and stood there staring at the black water.
I can finally be with Daddy again.
I won't be suffering.
I won't be alone...

"Teal, Stop!"

Thats's when I slipped and fell straight to my death.

Just kidding.
I slipped and fell back onto the bridge.
I groaned rubbing my head.
I felt strong arms engulf me and lift me up walking.

"Let me go....Just let me die..."

I said before passing out.

I opened my eyes and felt arms around me.
I looked around and I was in my room.
I groaned.
I had failed.
Again.
I felt a kissed on my neck and turned over.
Jason stared back at me.
I got angry and pulled away from him getting up.

"Wait." He said.

I turned and looked at him.

"Why did you do it? Why did you have to save me again? Why couldn't you just let me be?"

I threw at him.

"Because I couldn't watch the girl I fell in love with kill herself."
"You don't love me. You only want me gone."

He was out of the bed and in front of me.

"I do. I'm sorry for how i've acted. I'm just pissed about my dad. Please, can you ever forgive me?"
"No."
"Please, Teal!"
"Why should I?! You've treated me like i'm just just street corner hooker!"
"I know. I'm so sorry. I'll neve rforgive myself for that. Just please. I can't go on knowing I fucked us up over something so stupid."

I sighed.
I can't.
He treated me like shit.
But I will.
Because I love him...
I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him resting my head on his chest.

"I forgive you. Only because I love you."
"I love you too."

He kissed the top of my head.

The daily life of Jason and Teal.
Bullshit.
Bullshit.
Drama.
And more bullshit.
But it makes us stronger and closer.
