I sat my phone down and went to the living room, turning on the TV.

I flipped through the channels before landing on Jersey Shore marathon.

My phone started blasting Love by Keyshia Cole.

I hung up, put my phone in my pocket and went to open the door.

Kye was standing there with a big duffle bag in his hand.

I gave him a kiss on the cheek before letting him in.

"I mean, you flip the fuck out at the carnival then I don't hear from you for two weeks-"

He drops the bag and wraps his arms around my waist.

I smiled at him and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

I look down.

"We are going on a trip, so pack as much of your shit as you can."

I squealed and ran upstairs with him right behind me.

He shook his head as we walked in my room. I began packing random shit.

I nodded as I began throwing stuff in my Gucci duffle bag.

I looked down at my phone that was vibrating and saw Mal's picture on the screen blowing me a kiss.

"Im on my way home now."

"Aight. I can chill for a bit."

"Going on a road trip I guess."

I sat my phone down.

He scrunched up his face but nodded.

He just looked the other way.

I rolled my eyes and finished packing.

I pushed Kye back on the bed and straddled him, laying my head on his chest.

"UPSTAIRS!"

I could here his loud ass stomps coming up the steps.

He smirked and kissed my forehead.

He laughed and threw himself in the chair at my desk.

I looked at Kye hoping he would slip up and give me a destination.

Mani laughed as a look of disappointment passed over my face.

I got off of Kye and took my bag downstairs, sitting it beside his.

The house phone rang and I quickly picked it up.

"Speak."

I heard some breathing on the other end then they hung up.

He rushed downstairs with Kye right behind him.

"Do a run on the last incoming call por favor?"

"You got it."

He left and Kye was coming back from putting our stuff in his car.

I heard Nile's little fit running around to find me.

He ran to me and latched to my leg.

Alex walked in with there school bags in hand.

They were both home-schooled by one of my mom's old friends and thats where they stayed last night.

She nodded and pulled her hair from its bun.

"Where you going? And who this?"

I giggled.

"Alex this is Kye. And he's taking me on a secret trip."

"CAN WE GO!!!!!!????!!"

I looked at Nile who was giving me puppy eyes then at Kye who was zoned into his phone.

Just then all the blinds closed, doors closed and locked, light went out, and we were left in darkness.
