Seventeen year old James Burke is a rich, snobby prep. He is shallow, mean, cruel, and the most popular guy in school. Some say it's because of his ridiculously impossible good looks. Others say it's because he secretly has a soft spot. But the majority of the crowd believes that everyone is too scared to stand up to him. But one day, James encounters something terrifyingly surreal. He quickly realizes that he can do things he couldn’t before. He’s faster, stronger, and can hear things from hundreds of miles away. Literally. In the midst of trying to find out what’s happening to him, he comes across a girl that isn’t afraid to tell him what she thinks. She’s the only one that knows his secret. But will that come to bite him in the butt? Or will they rise above it all, and beat the vulnerability inside of them?
