Even from the Pacific Ocean, we watched and we felt the pain reverberate from our television screens. We felt the sorrow. The horror. Even from the islands we saw the dying, the dead, and we cried. Because September 11 was not just a crime against America. It was a crime against humanity. As my clock nears midnight to sweep away 9/11 from my desktop, I write this in memory of those who had lost so much, for the firemen who died saving others, for the forty four who were on flight 93.

For your sacrifice, for you deaths, for your pain, I am sorry.
