I look over at Natalya as I notice her staring at the building. We’d been here for nearly a couple hours and she had managed to get me prepared for this gathering. I take a much needed deep breath as I sigh, “Are you sure about this? Like really sure.” I ask her nervously as she lets a faint chuckle escape her tightly pressed lips.

“Trust me sis. Just trust me. If anything happens, I have your back and will have you out of there before they can actually harm you.” Natalya warns me.

I nod my head as I shake my arms loosely letting my nerves go away. But it wasn’t working like it normally did. I sigh as I smile at Natalya and begin walking to the hotel this ball was being held in. I show my badge as I get inside. I begin looking around as I hear Natalya talk to me in the device we were using to communicate with. “Good job sis. Now just be casual and act like you’re having the time of your life.” She says.

I sigh, “Easy for you to say.” I mutter lowly for only Natalya to hear me.

She chuckles as I roll my eyes making my way through the crowd. I grab something to drink as I look around seeing Fury, Steve, Hawkeye, and Natasha. I quickly turn around so none of them will see me as I take a deep breath, “Fury, Steve, Clint, and Natasha are here.” I mutter.

“Be cool. Try not to get spotted.” She warns me.

I slowly put the drink down and get into the crowd so I can’t be seen. I smile in relief as I continue looking around this place. I listen to Natalya as I begin searching for the guy she is telling me about. I search through the whole party till I finally come across him, “He’s exiting the building.” I tell her as I take a deep breath and follow behind, trying not to get too close to them.
