If You Can't Hang, Then There's the Door

I awoke with no kellin by my side. He had slept sitting up in the chair next to my bed, his head rested in his hand as he slumped uncomfortably in the small chair. I giggled at the sight, he didn't look happy, and he was still wearing his batman outfit that Ashley had brought him just without the beanie.

"Baby, wake up" I ran my hand through his hair from the side of him and he groaned.

"Scar?? It's SO early" He wined but smiled at me none the less and reached for my hand.

"I was hoping maybe they would release me early." I was hopeful, I wanted to be back in our home. Back in his bed, safe. I felt like the white walls were slowly coming in on me, I couldn't stand it here any longer.

"Want me to go see ? Maybe if you can leave early we can go with Ashley to get the gang at the airport?" He got up and I smiled remembering the boys were all coming home early.

"I can't wait for them to get here" I smiled and he left the room.

I looked out the window and saw a clear blue sky. I wanted to go outside, and be out of this small, stuffy room with all it's weird noises and smells. I wanted fresh air and I wanted to see my family again.

"Hey baby, the doctors going to be here shortly to put on your heart monitor then we can leave. The guys land at four or so." Kellin walked back into the room and immediately came and gave me a tight hug. I loved Kellins hugs, they were what I had missed the most.

"I can't wait to see them all again, and I'm dying to get out of here, I miss fresh air" I laughed and he chuckled with me.

The doctor came in shortly and put my monitor on , it was different than last times. It was smaller and less noticeable.

"We'll mrs Porter ill see you in a week, and don't forget to record how your feeling in a journal when you begin to feel anxious or feel pain. Ok?" The doctor seemed worried I'd forget, but trust me I didn't want anything like this to happen ever again.

"I promise I won't forget." He nodded and handed me my belongings.

"Thank you for everything doctor Garret" I shook his hand and made my way to the bathroom. I put my jeans on and my bra then I realized my shirt had been cut completely in half by the paramedics. I couldn't leave like this.

"Uhm kellin?" I shouted from the bathroom and he appeared in the door frame.

"We'll that's.... Sexy" he winked at me dramatically making a funny face and laughed.

"It's not funny! I want to leave" I hugged and frowned.

"Hold on, you can wear my batman shirt and ill wear my gross shirt that needs washed until we get home ?" He removed his shirt and revealed his bare chest... He had gotten bigger, in a good may, his arms were more toned and he had more broad pecks. I wanted to jump him right then and there.

"Uhm? Scarlett? Are you ok" he waved his hand in front of my face, I was still stating at his muscles as they moved, he was still skinny, he wasn't a body builder or anything but his change was noticeable.

I looked up at him and ran my hand over his chest, then his arms. He watched me in confusion, but as soon as I pushed him lightly against the wall he got a devilish smile on his face. He grabbed my waist and brought me closer against him and crashed his lips to mine. It was Rough, Primal, filled with pure lust. He ran his hands all over my body, i pressed closer to him wanting more, as we continued our assault with each others tongues. I placed my hands back on his chest and lightly pushed away. We stared into each others eyes for a moment catching our breath.

"We'll, someone missed me." He smiled like a goofball and I kissed him quickly one last time on the lips and put his shirt on. It was a little baggy but I smiled as it warmed my skin, the hospital gown had felt like ice.

"Let's go baby" I said to kellin who just stared at me in shock.

"What?" I asked him as he waved his hands.

"Uh hello! You kinda just.... Left me hanging, if you know what I mean!" His eyes widened as I looked down to his crotch and realized what I had done to him. I couldn't help it, but I burst out laughing as kellin hit his head against the wall and groaned.

"I'm sorry, hahaha, but it's so FUNNY, poor baby!" I continued to laugh as he crossed his arms.

"Your still the biggest tease on earth." He blushed a bright red and walked out of the bathroom when he had 'calmed down'

"I'll make it up to you I promise!" I said as we walked out of the hospital and to the taxi kellin had waiting for us.

"You better... That wasn't funny" he pouted and scooted away from me in the taxi.

We got to the bakery shortly after to picked up Kellins car. He easily missed his car as much as he missed me.

"MY BABY!" He screamed and ran to the hood and hugged it. I laughed hysterically as I walked into the bakery. The whole staff was there and Ashley was smiling madly at me.

"SCAR! Your finally back!" She shouted and hugged me tight. Roger, Polly, Ben, and Ruth all crowded around me.

"We were so worried Scarlett" roger said giving me a hug next.

"I'm so glad your ok! I was hysterical for days!" Polly cried , it was surprising to see her this way she was usually professional, kept to herself and rarely spoke.

"I'm ok I promise guys, how's the bakery been ?" Ruth smiled at me.

"It's been good! I've been keeping up ok with the restock but I can't make your specialties. We're almost out of the limited flavors" I smiled at her an gave her hug.

"I'm proud of you, the store looks wonderful, thank you all so much." I smiled as Ben held his arms out for a hug and I obliged.

"Missed you Mrs. S" he replied sheepishly, he was a shy guy.

"We'll everyone I won't be back until the day after tomorrow, I just wanted to stop by and check up on things while me and kellin picked up the car." They all hugged me again as kellin walked in, roger ran up to him.

"Wow you are way cuter then I thought you'd be! I love your music man, Scarlett played your CD all the time and I couldn't help but start to love it!" He shook Kellins hand who just laughed lightly.

"Thank you, and thank you so much for the flowers you sent Scar, she needs great employees like you guys!" Kellin smiled at roger and I trounced himself to the rest of the crew.

We left shortly after, Ashley was going to meet us at the airport in an hour and we needed to shower and change before we went to pick up the guys.

"So babe... Ready to make it up to me?" Kellin whispered in my ear as we entered our apartment.

"What did you have in mind?" I giggled as he kissed my neck and removed his shirt tossing it to the floor in the hallway entrance.

"We'll, it involves nice warm water, soap, and oh yea... Both of us being naked" I giggled at his implication and started removing my clothes as we continued to place our hands all over each other.

We made it to the shower quickly and let the warm water flow over our naked bodies. It was exciting and it had been over three months since we've sated each others bodies. I slipped on my black flats as kellin emerged in a pair of dark blue jeans he had found and the purple shirt he had left me and his new yellow beanie.

"Your so sexy Scar" he pointed to my hoodie and hugged me.

"We'll , I am your biggest fan Mr. Quinn" he laughed and kissed my nose and pushed me towards the door.

"We can't be late, you know there's never let us live it down" kellin said as we locked the door and ran to the car.

"I'm so excited! I'm stoked Vic and Austin are coming as well!" Kellin smiled while watching the road.

"Good because they are staying with us, by the way" he said nervously, I didn't mind that they were staying with us. Kellin could be so silly sometimes.

"You know, you don't have to sound like I was going to be mad about this. I'm thrilled that they are staying with us" I grabbed his hand as he let out a sigh of relief.

"We'll I forgot to ask you if it was ok because I wanted to surprise you but.. The whole hospital situation threw off my surprise" he smiled and squeezed my hand tightly as we came up to the airport. My heart fluttered, our best friends were all inside and ready to come home. I was so excited I actually skipped into an airport with a smile on my face. No fear and no hesitation like normally. Kellin stared on in amazement as I bounced to the terminal they would be waiting for us at.

"Wow Scar, your beyond hype right now aren't you?" He laughed and ran to catch up to me. We stood outside the gates just waiting for the crowd.

"SCAR ! KELLIN!" We heard from behind us and we turned to see a moling Ashley, she was in a brown flowing sun dress with a white belt at her waist and her beautiful blonde hair was curled and bounced as she skipped over to us. She wanted to impress Jesse and she was doing to trick. She looked stunning, not over dressed just a natural beauty about her.

"ASH!" I hugged her tightly she was slightly taller than me and she picked me up off the ground.

"I bet your excited !" I laughed as she set me down.

"You know more than anyone that I am! " she smiled and stared towards the terminal, her eyes got wide and she started waving frantically as Justin and Jesse came running full speed down the hall way towards us. I backed up slightly as Jesse scooped Ashley up and kissed her spinning her around. I closed my eyes and braved for impact as Justin slammed into me and hugged the life out of me.

"Wow Justin, I didn't think you missed me that much!" I hugged him back as he laughed.

"I was so fucking worried Scar, you have no idea, I just... Needed a hug" he blushed and set me down as Vic and Austin both hugged me by my side sort of like a sandwich hug. I giggled and hugged them back. Kellin was talking to Jesse as gabe and jack came up to me and both kissed my cheek. Gabe hugged me first swaying me left to right,

"I'm so happy your ok Scar, I didn't know what to do with myself. Please don't scare us like that again" he whispered in my ear and released me so jack could hug me tightly.

I had tears in my eyes as I got to Jesse, he frowned and picked me up hugging me and running his hand through my hair. Jesse was like my older brother, he was always there when I couldn't talk to Kellin or when me and kellin were fighting. I cried into his shoulder and he told me to "shhh"

"I love you Scar, no more tears, your safe, were all safe, and were all together again" I whipped my eyes on my hoodie sleeves and smiled at him.

I could see kellin smiling lovingly at me and his best friend. He had a gleam in his eyes I've never seen before. He smiled to himself and I couldn't help but wonder.
