Throwing Stones at Glass Houses

Chapter 10

It was a cold night. I knocked on the door. The frigid air allowed me to see my own breath. I stood there shivering and rubbing my arms to stay warm, waiting for Vic to open the door. I heard the lock click and saw the door open up. "Hey, come in it's cold out there," he said closing the door behind me. I stood there still freezing. "I hope you don't mind but my parents aren't home," he said grabbing my hand. His hand was warm. "Wow you're freezing," he said leading me inside to the den. "Sit sit," he said opening up a closet. He pulled out a blanket and sat down next to me placing it on me. "Can I get you something to drink? Maybe something warm," he said running his fingers through his hair. I smiled, "I think I'm fine right now." Vic seemed very unsettled. He got up and walked over to the television. "Would you like to watch a movie," he asked looking back at me. "Sure," I said standing up. "Pick one of the movies from over there," he said pointing to a rack of dvds. I went over to the rack and scanned through the DVDs. Vic came over and put his arm around my waist, resting his hand on my hip. "Did you pick one," he said. I looked between the three choices I had. I stopped thinking for a second when I felt Vic hand cautiously slide down a little bit lower than my hip. I ignored it and continued with my decision. "How about Scary Movie 2," I said looking at him over my shoulder. "If that's what you want to watch then we will watch it," he said kissing me on the cheek. I couldn't help but blush a bit. I went and sat on the couch and pulled the blanket over me again still shivering. Vic sat close next to me and put his arm around me pulling me into him. "Mind if I share the blanket with you," Vic asked. "Not at all," I said putting some of the blanket over him too. He pressed play and we watched the movie. About half way through the movie, I felt his hand on my upper thy. I sat there trying to pretend I didn't feel it, but it was hard. I swallowed. I was tired. I yawned. "You tired," he asked me rubbing my back. "Yeah," I said stretching a bit. "Why don't we finish the movie and you can sleep over if you want," he whispered in my ear. I felt a chill run through my body. I shook my head. He kissed my cheek again. We sat there watching the rest of the movie. His hand still rested on my thy. After it was over I yawned. "That was a good movie," Vic said kissing my cheek lightly. "So what do you want to do now," I asked him stretching. I looked at Vic. He looked into my eyes and I was lost trapped in almost a trace. Vic's lips moved closer to mine. Next thing I knew we were kissing. Vic had his arms around me pulling me closer and closer to him. He gently pushed me down on the couch and laid down on top of me. I linked my hands together around his neck. Vic's hands roamed around my body not staying in one spot. His lips moved from my mouth down to my neck. "Vic," I said. He pulled his head away and looked at me in the eyes, "What's wrong Stella?" "I think I should get going," I said sitting up. "Oh, alright," he said standing up. I stood up and walked towards the door. "Thanks for having me over," I said turning around to look at him. I pecked a quick kiss on his lips and turned around to leave. Vic grabbed my wrist spinning me back around. He kissed me again with no intentions of breaking the kiss up anytime soon. I pulled away resting my forehead on his. "Goodnight," I said opening the front door. "Text me okay," Vic said smiling at me. I smiled back at him, "Of course." I headed out the house and back to Zack's.
