Ryder and Friday.

*Friday.*

I was back at school the next day, feeling better.

Ry was all too pleased because he thought it meant Shane would go nowhere near him.

He also liked the fact that he had a guy as well as two girls.

Literally as soon as I walked through the doors, Ry ran up to me and jumped into my arms.

Aww ... he's so fucking cute.

"Don't tell Shane." He whispered in my ear.

"You got it." I muttered back.

Laura came bounding up to us, her long pink hair up in bunches.

She was followed by Nina and Chance.

"You guys are soooooo cute!" Laura half shouted.

I put Ry down.

"Yeah. We know." He laughed, hugging Nina while I hugged Laura.

No-one hugged Chance.

We saw Shane coming towards our little group and I couldn't help but get involved with what happened.

"Hey gay lords!" He called to us, turning every head in the corridor in our direction.

Laura laughed and stood on her toes to ruffle my hair.

Chance wrapped his arms protectively around Nina.

Nina glance at Ryder and smiled comfortingly.

Ry started shaking and moved close to me.

"He won't hurt you." I whispered, snaking my arms around him from behind.

"Oi, fuckass!" Shane shouted, directly at Ryder.

He whimpered in response and tried his hardest not to look at him.

"Why're you here? Come to finish what you started?" I asked, loosening my grip on Ryder.

"What I started?" He questioned, narrowing his eyes at Ry.

Ryder was shaking uncontrollably now and I tried to stop him.

Unsuccessful.

"I will fucking kill you. You wait 'til your boyfriend isn't there." He spat, causing a small crown to gather around us.

"I'm always there for him, Nobweed." I hissed, letting go of Ryder completely.

"Not if you're dead." He laughed, shaking his head.

I did kinda a 'bitch please' face and punched him in the nose.

Unfortunately for me, all the teachers are homophobic and they hate me, so they 'only' saw me hit Shane.

"Two weeks detention for fighting, Mr. Moon." Hunter droned, filling out the detention slip.

"Well worth it." I snapped, grabbing Ryder's hand and running up the main stairs with him to his History lesson.
