I dunno what had gotten into Ryder.
I think I just got dumped.

I followed him out of the hospital and found him halfway down the street.
"Ry, what the fuck?" I asked, causing a few women to cover their children's ears and throw filthy looks at me.
"Leave me alone, Friday." He hissed through clenched teeth.
"Ry ... you've changed." I sighed, staring at the ground.
"Good or bad change?" He asked, turning back into the Ryder that I know and definitely love.
"Bad ... I think you just broke up with me." I muttered, willing myself not to cry.
Ryder's face slipped into a frown and he looked like he was gonna cry too.
He jumped forwards and wrapped his arms around my neck.
"I love you." He mumbled against my neck.
"I love you too." I smiled, picking him up.
