Best Intentions

It's been 3 days since I talked to Alex about 'us'.

*flashback*
I went to his place. I slowly went up to his front porch and rang the doorbell. He opened the door.
"Hey Tay" he said smiling, leaving some space for me to come in.
"Hi Alex." I said "We need to talk"
"Sure. What about" he said wrapping his arms around my waist.
"This" I pointed to my waist.
"Later" he said
"What do you mean later?" I asked
"We can talk about this later" he clarified "Fun first" he said
"No" i said
"Your mouth says no but your body says yes" he whispered in my ear, sucking my neck. I tried my best not to moan.
"Alex" I said
"We can talk later" he said.
"Alex" I said again
"What?" he said
"Fine" I said giving in

I was about to get up to gather my clothes when he pulled me back to the bed.
"Can we talk now?" I asked
"Of course" he smiled cheekily
"This is the last time this will be happening" I said
"What?" he said
"This can't happen again" I said
"Why not?" he said
"Because this will get ugly if we keep this up" I said
"Fine" he said "No promises though"
"I'm serious" I said. He just smirked at me

Jack came in my apartment with Cass.
"Have you talked to him?" Cass asked
"Yeah..." I said
"And?" Jack asked
"It won't happen again" I said
"I doubt it" he mumbled making Cass laugh. I glared at them both
"he has a point though" Cass said
"What is that point?" I asked
"It's gonna happen again between you two" he said
"No it's not" I said
"Whatever" they both said

*End of flashback*

It was a Friday and we were having dinner at Jack's tonight. Rosie was with Sam and her boyfriend. They offered to babysit.

Things have been fine with Alex. It's like nothing even happened. I was grateful to him for that. For understanding. Of course, he had to. It's not like we weren't raising a child together. I felt sorry for
him. He had to put up with all my shit even though he didn't deserve any of it. He didn't have to but he did anyway. I don't know how I can ever repay him for that. Cass was talking to Rian and Zack. I was with Jack and Alex. I totally spaced out when they were bickering about something. I forgot what though.
"Tay, are you okay?" Alex asked taking notice of me
"Yeah, I'm fine" I smiled at them "I'm gonna go talk to Cass" the nodded. I went over to Cass, Rian and Zack.
"Hey Tay" the three of them said
"Hey" I replied
"What's up?" Cass asked me
"Nothing. I just needed to get away from their bickering" I pointed to Alex and Jack. Rian and Zack chuckled.
"Ha well you're more than welcome to chill with us" Zack said. I smiled at both of them.

It was getting late by now almost all of them were really drunk. I was, of course, the only one sober. I didn't drink. The last time I drank was when the guys first left for their first tour. I went into the kitchen to get some kool-aid from the refrigerator when I felt familiar arms wrap around my waist.
"Alex, no" I said "We talked about this" He was now kissing me
"Come on, a quickie would be fine" he whispered. I could feel his breathing against my skin. It sent shivers down my spine.
"No" I said but he was already getting my hoodie off of me. I couldn't resist him. Not when he was pressing his lips against mine roughly. He started sucking on my neck. "Why are you doing this to me?" I said trying to pull away. But his grip was tight.
"Because I know that I could have you naked on this floor in seconds if I wanted you to" he said and pressed his lips against mine. He licked my bottom lip asking for entrance but I declined and pulled away.
"No you can't" I said leaving him. When I got to the living room Jack gave me a look and I went over to him
"Everything alright, Tayson?" he asked
"Yeah. I should get going. I'm getting tired" I said
"It's too early!" he said
"When you have a daughter to worry about, it's never to early" I said smiling at him
"Fine. Tell Rosie I said hi" he said pouting. I said goodbye to Rian and Zack
"You coming with me, Cass" I asked
"Yeah" she said. We headed out the door "You okay?"
"Yeah. I'm just.. tired" I said
"I saw you" she said
"Huh?" I asked in confusion
"You and Alex. I saw you kissing" she said
"It was only a kiss, and he was drunk. It won't happen again. Promise" I said
"Some promises are meant to be broken, Taylor" she said. She was drunk and I was hoping that she wouldn't remember any of that in the morning
"You can come crash at my place. I'm too tired to drive all the way to your place. You can use the guest bedroom" I said
"Thanks" she said

I woke up at 3:30 in the morning to the sound of somebody getting in my room. I thought it was Cass until he went up to my bed and lay down beside me
"What do you want Alex? It's 3:30 in the morning." I said. He didn't say anything he just kissed me
"Let's get back to where we were earlier" he said
"No." I said
"Why not? It was fun" he said
"You're drunk" I said
"So?" he said
"Nothing. Look you are more than welcome to crash here, but keep things PG." I said
"Can't" he said. By now the only thing on me was my underwear. He too. He was on top of me now.

The night went by in a blur. I woke up a few hours later. Alex was still sleeping beside me. I quickly got up and ran to the shower. I took a long shower. When I was done I put on a fresh set of clothes. I slipped out of bathroom only to find Alex awake on the bed.
"Goodmorning, beautiful" he said smiling
"I thought we talked about this. You can't just go in my room and wake me up at 3 in the morning" I said he went up to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I was facing him, my arms crosse in front of my chest
"It won't happen again. That was the last time" he said and kissed my cheek
"Good" I said. I pulled away from him and got out of the room.
