Being a Dream Weaver means more than fun party tricks, and super easy test cheating, something Chelsa Peters never understood. Now after a serious screw up Chelsa's being shipped off to the last place a New York City grown girl want's to hear: rural Indiana.

A city girl at heart Chelsa can't comprehend her new life living with her spinster great aunt Diana and orphaned cousin Bambi in a house older than most the architecture in her city block back east. Chelsa's parents had made it crystal clear- shape up, or stay stuck. The question is, how long will it take Chelsa to take her powers seriously, and value others? More important if she does figure things out, will she even want to leave?
