Chapter 8: Are you a thing?
Everyone was stood in the living room contemplating wether or not to open the door.
'Screw it!' Josh exclaimed looking into the peep hole.'Alex!' Josh added opening the door.
'Hey Josh!' Alex greeted
'Alex you alright?' Josh asked
'Yeah,but I saw Abigail on the way up called me a prat but I'm good' Alex answered. Max coughed as to give a hint.
'Oh yeah umm Alex Max kinda knows' Josh confessed. Alex went red.
'Oh cool cool,yeah cool' Alex stumbled
'Dear god how nerveous can someone be' Gem whispered
'Well uh I'm gonna leave you lot to whatever you couple lot do,I shall wake Matt and Chris up' And with that said Max left
'They have been asleep a long while jesus christ' Dan emphasized
Dan then dragged Gem to the sofa to continue watching gossip girl leaving Josh and Alex awkwardly stood in silence.
'So' Alex began
'So' Josh replied
'Dear god you guys!' Dan yelled
'What?' They both asked in sync
'Are you a couple then mate?' Dan asked.
Alex and Josh looked at each other.They simply looked back at Dan and Gem then they nodded.
'So do you wanna go out on this double date?' Alex asked
'I'm up for it!' Dan answered
'Depends who the other couple is though?' Gem laughed.
With that they left to go to Nandos (as usual).On the way there it crossed Josh's mind this was officially his and Alex's first date..Before he could think any more on the subject they had arrived.
'Uhh Alex the place looks closed?' Josh Indicated
'Yeah I know,I had them make it private reservation meaning its just us in the resturant' Alex Revealed
'Nice one mate' Dan said patting Alex on the back
They entered the establishment to be greeted by a over enthusiastic waiter.
'Hello there my friends and Mr Gaskarth!' The waiter began 'I am Shaun and I am your waitor this evening'
'Seems a bit gay...doesn't he?' Gem whispered
'A bit.....'Dan whispered back
Josh laughed out load as they were being guided to there table.
'Here are your menus,drinks?' Shaun the waiter asked making weird hand signs
'Pepsi' Alex replied
'Coke please' Gem added
'Yeah another Coke' Dan answered
'Pepsi please' Josh said getting his phone out
'Alrightie then so 2 pepsi's and 2 cokes coming up' Shaun said leaving the table.
'Out of curiousity,what happened before I got to your place,you know with Abi?' Alex questioned.
'Well....' Josh began
'Basicaly Abi had a go at us because we didnt let her see Josh then we called Gem a bitch and spat on her so I bitch slapped her so then Josh came out and said he had been fucking you behind her back,thats the short version' Dan interupted
Gem laughed at Alex's facial expression,he looked kinda stunned but happy in a way.Josh just nodded.
'Good for you sticking up for your girl' Shaun butted in bringing over the drinks.They then ordered there dinner to return to any awkward silence.
'So..' Gem muttered
'Yeah so' Dan began ' I'm just gonna say whats on my mind,are you guys like a thing?' Dan asked
'A thing?' Josh and Alex questioned
'Yeah like a couple,like me and Gem' Dan replied
'I-I-I' Josh mumbled
'Yeah we are' Alex announced putting his arm round Josh's shoulder.They ate there meals cracked a few jokes about the gay waiter and returned back to the appartment.
Dan opened the door to find,Max,Matt and Chris jamming out on Band Hero.
'Why do you need to do that when you are in a band and play real instruments,honestly?' Gem asked lying into the sofa.
'Its fun' Max mumbled
'Dude your in a real band thats a game' Dan responded going to sit next to Gem.Alex went to hold Josh's hand but pulled he pulled away,Alex looked at Josh with a confused look. Josh pointed at Matt and Chris rocking out on Band Hero.
Alex forgot,they had no clue..........
