Just Another Smile Of Yours To Break
Don't Worry About It
I reached the bus, with my bags by my side. I rose my arm as my shaky hand tried to unlock the door. I finally unlocked it, pushing it open. Walking inside with my bags, I saw a little girl on the coach reading a book aloud to herself.
"Then the wonderfully dressed princess walked quickly through the woods, running away from her mother." She read.
I looked at her confused before a brick bashed through my mind. Copeland? I let a tear slip out of my eye, smiling as she continued to read. She looked up at me, with those big blue and green eyes. Daddy's girl. I shook my head at I walked over and sat down next to her.
"Keep reading." I said, encouraging her.
She smiled as she began to read again. I held a smile on my face as her small hands held the novel. Once she finished I awed at her.
"Was I good?" she asked.
"Flawless babygirl." I said.
She squealed, "Thanks Ashley, I knew you'd come back."
I cried into her hair as she hugged me.
"Wherever I was you were always with me, as with you." I whispered.
