"No! He's not! You don't know him like I do!", I lashed out. I felt anger and rage pour over me.
"Mitchell's dead, your brother's in the hospital because he got beaten to a bloody pulp. Alex was the only one either of them saw before their accidents. Tell me, is that just a coincidence?"
I just stood there, frozen in disbelief. How could anyone stand being told that their own boyfriend might be a serial killer?
