Evgeni's POV
Waking up with her in my arms was the only way I wanted to start the day. Veronique had tried to get us to be traditional and not see each other but we didn't care. The second I perceived the text message saying 'I need you' from Kate I was sneaking out of from Sid and Denis's not very watchful eyes.

Turns out we were both so nervous but just having each other around was all we needed.

Once I woke up in the morning I couldn't go back to sleep. No matter how much I tried it wasn't going to happen.

"Evgeni," she mumbled as I dragged the pen across her skin.
"Shh go back to sleep," I kissed her forehead and waited for sleep to overcome her again before continuing on with my little note on her thigh.

I didn't want to leave but if I didn't get back to the guys room Denis was going to pumble me like he did when we were kids.

I managed to make it though the door and was about to head back to bed to catch maybe another half hour of sleep if I was lucky when I heard a very distinctive clearing of the voice behind me.

"Yes," I turned around with a guilty smile as clear as day on my face.
"Zhenya," Denis put his hand on my shoulder and led me over to the kitchen.
"What? She didn't see me, she was asleep when I left."
"Yeah ok," he didn't believe me.
"Denis come on, Kate was nervous last night, she sent me a text message how can you say no to that?" I turned my phone around to show him the I need you :,( that showed up on my screen and he knew how there was no way I could ignore that.
"Fine but don't tell Veronique, she will kill me and Sid."

Kate's POV
I woke up to find an empty bed but I was ok with it when the pillow next to me smelt just like him.

I was about to get up and have a shower when I noticed a little note on my bedside dresser.



Then I caught a glimpse of something scrawled on my upper thigh.
"What the?"



Really? He couldn't he just written that al on the piece of paper? Now I was never going to wash my leg again.

I took a quick photo of both notes and sent it to Vero.

Before continuing on with my morning routine I had planned before all the chaos began.

Evgeni's POV
My hands began to sweat and my knees began to feel weak when everything was about to begin.

"Don't worry you will do fine," Denis put his hand on my shoulder as the music started playing.
"Still scared, what if I stuff up?" we tried to be as secretive as possible.
"Kate will be there to support you, don't worry."

I tried to let myself get lost in the song as the bridal party walked down the isle. I couldn't help but smile when I saw Asher holding the rings as he walked next to Sid, he gave me a big smile and a little wave and the nerves left for a moment before they appeared again the moment I saw her.

"She is beautiful," Denis whispered in my ear as she walked down with her dad.

My heart almost stopped when she stood in front of me. Her father shook my hand and gave me a hug, "look after her," he whispered in my ear.
"I will," I promised as he nodded in approval before finding his spot with Kate's mother.

Greg was one of the most important people to Kate and while we hadn't seen him much because he had been sick Kate was so excited to have her parents here with us.

"You look beautiful," I gulped almost losing my voice.
"Thanks, you don't look so bad yourself," she smiled taking my hands.

Kate's POV
"I know we didn't start out like most couples, I know all the hiding and messing around while it was fun while it lasted wasn't the smartest thing we did, but thanks to Veronique it was rather short lived," she turned to Vero who smiled widely, "That day she sat us down at lunch and lectured us about making a better situation for my son, I didn't believe her that it would be as simple as she said but she used my son against me and I had my other option and as it turned out letting you into my life was the best choice I ever made. I had my doubts but you proved to me that I just had to let go of some things, that I could have that perfect life I always wanted, and that perfect life is with you, you are my dream."

Thing was I thought Kate made my life perfect, she was everything I wanted and more and while yes we didn't start out like a normal couple, the plan was just sex and no emotions. I grabbed Kate's hand and we walked back down the isle with all our family and friends who had tears in their eyes.

We finally had just a few moments together before we were being taken off on a wild photo experience around the estate. I lost count of the amount of times I had to pick Kate up and carry her because the leaves and dirt were too much.

Before we knew it we were being introduced back to the crowd for dinner and by then I was dying to just sit down and relax even for a minute.

"Ok now there is just one last thing we want to do before we eat," Kate spoke up as a man brought out a cage with a little dove, "as you all know our kids are very important to Evgeni and I. They are our little rocks and make our life go round, without them I don't know what we would do but... and I know you aren't supposed to play favorites but Asher, he is a very special part of our life and there is something Evgeni wants to say..."

We sat down on the step and Kate pulled Asher up into her lap. I had a little card ready but as my son sat with a big smile on his face I found all the words I needed.
"Asher..." I took a deep breath. I hated talking in crowds, I hated speaking English when I knew most people wouldn't understand me, I hated talking period but I had to do it.

"I know we fight a lot, you stubborn like mum and sometime make life hard but... you amaze me, your strong, your brave, you beat cancer and that make me proud all on its own. You teach me new things all day, you teach me how to love life and," I looked up at the crowd to see all the teary eyes and sad faces, "until you have son, you never know that special bond we have," I pulled out the dog tag necklace and put it over his head, "I love you buddy."
"I love you too," he jumped into my arms.

Kate's POV
I hadn't seen Evgeni cry while holding Asher since our little boy had cancer but these two truly had a special bond.
"You know," I stood up letting Evgeni take Asher to the side for moment, "Something else Evgeni forgot to mention was that until you have a son you never know what it is like to be a real hero... see the other day we were coloring and I asked Asher who was his favourite superhero, talking about the character he was coloring and he turned around and it the sweetest little voice said... Dad. To him his dad is his hero and that is something as a mother I won't get to be, at least not for my sons."

Evgeni brought Asher back out once the tears were all gone and joined me again in front of everyone. The minister said something about the meanings of doves and what they symbolize but I was too busy paying attention to my two favourite guys holding that dove in their hands.

"You ready?" I put my arm around Evgeni as he smiled at Asher on his hip.
"Yeah," he smiled.
"On 3... 1, 2," they counted together, "3," and released the dove.

Everyone watched with wide eyes and huge smiles as the dove flew around and off into the sky.

"Now everyone should go and attack the bar," I gestured to the poor barman who was sure to have some funny stories after celebrating with this lot.

Evgeni's POV
I couldn't wait until we were finally allowed to dance together. We had practiced so much that I was beginning to like this dancing thing.
"I tell you your beautiful," I looked down at her in her gold dress with a huge smile on her face as her hips swayed to the music.
"I think so," she smirked.

As for caring about who saw us kissing, that went out the window as we stood in front of everyone making our love very clear to everyone else around.
"You two should get a room," Vero danced passed with Marc whistling at us.
"We don't have to," Kate locked her lips back onto mine.

"Can I steal her from you?" he looked at me.
"Sure all yours, but bring back," I pointed at him and narrowed my eyes before smiling and letting them go.

I sat down with my parents and watched as my wife danced around with her dad. While she didn't always show it I could see how important her family was to her and that made me realize how important this whole thing was. It was going to bring everyone back together and I could only hope that would make our life that much sweeter.

Kate's POV
The night could not have been any more perfect and with my parents looking after the kids we had our hotel room all to ourselves.

"I am so hungry," I complained as we got into the limo.
"McDonalds?" he raised his eyebrow at me.
"Chips! McDonalds!" I cheered to the driver who just shook his head at us.

"Happy?" Evgeni looked at me with a chip in his mouth.

"Sure," he stood up putting his warm hands on my shoulder's to turn me so he could see, "just move this," he swept my hair over my shoulder and brushed my shoulder blades in the process of grabbing the zipper and slowly letting it reveal my bare back.
"Really?" I turned back around and his face was bright red.
