If I said it started the day I was born I would be lying. Truth is, my mother had it coming a long time before I was conceived. And although she did nothing wrong to these people, the man she had been with hadn’t been entirely true.
If you hadn’t guessed, my Mom is dead. My step-dad David was devastated that there was nothing he could do to stop her from dying and I can’t say I felt anything seeing as I was way too young at the time to remember anything. Needless to say that David raised me and for all intensive purposes, he was just like a real dad to me. Thing is, he isn’t my dad and he never cared to tell me that my real Dad is the reason behind my mother’s death.
