Every Time I Look

Next day/ first two weeks-

He held me close one last time before he left.
" I love you." He whispered.
I waved as the bus drive away. Back to my old life. That was sad.
Old life with a twist; we weren't dead. I focused in school. Made the grades I wanted. When I didn't study,I hung with friends .
I actually went to parties without drinking.
Every night ,I couldn't wait to tell Craig about my day. I talked about him a lot but not overly .
He was always excited to talk to me on Skype or the phone.
We had a countdown.
-Friday Night . Six days until tour-
"We going to party!" Cali screamed as we dressed.
"Hit on some boys." Alex was dancing to Down With Webster.
It was nine pm. I found a short black ,strapless dress and sparkly heels. I looked "Damn fine" as Cali would say.
Before I left , I Skyped my baby.
"You look so hot. Look hot for me ,baby."
"You never take me out." I groaned .He was wearing my tee shirt
"I will take somewhere fancy when you visit."
He was excited. Hugh smile on his pretty face.
"I miss kissing your face." I admitted. He looked down then up into the camera. "Kiss me through the computer." He sang.
I laughed. He turned around an shook his butt at the camera.
We talked for an hour ,well laughed mostly. He said hi to my friends as they dragged me away.
My friends called us perfect. "We had one fight." I shared. They seemed happy for me . I spent the night dancing but thinking of my better half.
