The Agent's Daughter

Everybody Clear Out!!!

On my way down; I began to think. Will I ever see them again? Steve? Natasha? Tony? Thor? Or even Banner? But the question that stuck with me the most was, would I ever see Clint again? Those questions burned me for answers, but I couldn’t think like that right now, right now I had to focus on saving my cousin and the other civilians, and I had to try and stop Loki’s scheme of complete domination. I flew through the air. Not literally, but you know what I mean, but it felt like I was though.

Anyways, I used a grappling arrow, to keep myself from hitting the ground, and dying. And not really accomplishing anything. I aimed it at the balcony of the closest building. As soon as I landed on the ground, and I released the arrow. After a few seconds, Cap showed up. I nodded to him, and we both ran into the bank. As soon as we got into the bank, creatures had surrounded the civilians. I saw my cousin in the middle of the crowd, along with her friend. She was absolutely terrified. Well, she’s not exactly my cousin. She’s my dad’s niece, so she sorta counts as my cousin. Anyways…back to the matter at hand, Cap and I fought off the creatures, until a few creatures, hit Cap’s shield out of his hand, and they began firing at the both of us. Cap and I dove out of the range of fire, and Cap kicked a table at the group of creatures that were firing at us. L

uckily, the table had killed the creatures that were firing at us. We both stood up, not wanting to waste any of my arrows; I decided to use some of my martial arts training, which thankfully benefited me. While, I was fending off a few creatures, Cap ran to the edge, and yelled, “Everybody clear out!” Just then, a creature snuck up behind him, and tried to strangle him, instead it just ripped off his cowel, revealing his face. I tried to attack that one that was attacking Cap, but another tackled me to the ground, once again trying to stab my heart out. Except that this one, was a lot heavier than the last creature, which had tried to kill me. So this one was more of a challenge. I desperately tried to shove it off me, and then I saw Cap’s shield come in contact with its body, knocking it off me. He held out a hand to me. When, I thought that it was done, I saw a final creature, pick up a strange device that was beeping. “O̱, óchi! Nomízo̱ óti af̱tó to plásma kratá eínai mia vómva…” I muttered, angrily to myself. Cap turned to me,

“What?” He asked me. I was about to explain, what I had just said, but then the creature picked up the device, and he got ready to throw it at us. “Bomb!” I screamed, Cap turned to see the creature, pick up the device, and it got ready to throw it at the both of us. He grabbed his shield, and he held me close to the shield. When the bomb hit the shield, we both went flying. I flew away from Cap, hitting a nearby building. I fell to the ground, hitting my head. Hard. The last thing I was, Cap landing on a car. The windows of the car shattered, striking me in the face. I shakingly stood up, as I saw my cousin, being ushered out by a firefighter. She locked eyes with me, and I gave her a weak smile. She nodded at me, saying thank you. I nodded back to her. Then Cap came rushing up to me. “Maddy! Are you okay?” He asked, sounding concerned. “Yeah, I’m fine…Just cut by the glass from the car that you landed on, and just really shaken up. By the way, thanks for saving me from that creature back there…” “You’re welcome, anyways; it was out of courteous…”

He grinned. I smiled. Then, I realised, I had to get back up to Clint. “Cap…do you think thst you could throw me back up to Clint?” I backed up from Cap, as he held his shield in front of him. “Are you sure about this?” He asked. “Yeah, its going to be fun…” I said, unsurely. He held his shield out to me, indicating that he was ready. I ran full speed at him, jumping from the car that he landed on, jumping onto the shield. He launched me into the air. Hang on, Clint. I’m on my way up…
