After the movie was over, I went into my bunk thinking I was tired enough to sleep. But tonight wasn't one of my lucky nights. I laid awake the whole night. At about 5 am, I heard rustling coming from the bunk above mine.Who the fuck could be up at 5? Is someone else an insomniac

I did what I had to do and walked back into the bunk area and saw Alan sitting on the floor in the dark with nothing but the light from his phone shining onto his face
I sat down next to him and saw that he was looking through pictures of him and maddie
"I loved her a lot"
I looked down at his phone, she was really beautiful.
I looked back up at Alan
His eyes and nose were red and tears were rolling down his face. Seeing him sitting there crying broke my heart.
"I'm sorry you have to see me like this" He laughed with no humor
"It's alright Alan." I said quietly
I got up after a moment
"Would you like to take a walk?" I asked
He nodded and got up
I grabbed a pair of black sweatpants and my plain burgundy. I went into the bathroom and quickly changed and i put my hair into a pony tail. I covered the dark circles that laid under my eyes up with foundation. I got out of the bathroom and let Alan change since he was in pajamas. I grabbed some money and my phone in case we saw somewhere to eat.
"You ready?" He asked
He was wearing a gray beanie, Black sweat pants and a gray sweatshirt that said
"Aspire and Create"
His face was still slightly red from crying
I nodded
We walked into the chilly january air
"Fuck it's cold" I muttered
"Come here" Alan said and pulled me close to him
I felt my face get hot. His body heat radiated onto me. It was nice.
He talked to me about his relationship with maddie
"She thought you were cheating?" I asked

"I told her about how our photographer quit and how we were getting a different one"

"And I told her that it was gonna be a girl and she freaked out"

"She thought I was going to cheat on her with you" He said, his voice getting smaller

"Yeah. She told me to find out your instagram name. I got it from Drew and she went through your photos, I think she was intimidated " He said
That made me feel weird. Why would someone so beautiful be Intimidated by me?

"Okay it will be about 15 minutes,is that ok?" She asked

Those 15 minutes were filled of various talking. Soon our food came

Soon I paid and we left
"You know what, we should hang out more" Alan said as we walked back to the venue

"Yeah. I have a feeling we're gonna be great friends" He said and smiled

I situated them on the floor of the back lounge and got a glass of water

"I have a feeling Alan and you will be together. I can feel it" She said

"I like you more than I ever liked maddie, I hope you guys end up together in the long run. If not, I will beat the fuck out of my brother because you two are perfect for each other" She whispered and walked away
What if we do? Fucking shit Jillian you just met him yesterday and you barely even know him. But then again you practically just went on a date with him. But him and his girlfriend just broke up 3 hours ago.But when he was crying, I just wanted to kiss him and hold him and protect him from every harmful thing. I've never felt so comfortable and happy with someone. It's to early to have feelings for him. But might I develop some later?

I laid down and turn on the dvd player
