Falling for You Was Out of My Control

Falling Into Plan

Jessie’s POV
“I have beer, I have food,” Evgeni let himself in the front door with a big smile plastered on his face and Jeffrey in tow.
“Oh really? No knocking anymore?” I looked up from my work at the table.
“Here everyday, live on couch, landlord no tell you?” he curled his eyebrow at me
“I think that must have got mixed up in translation.”
“Now you know,” he put the grocery bags on the kitchen bench.

“What you doing?” he came over and looked over my shoulder.
“Same thing I have been doing for the past week, catching up on Uni work,” I sighed as he sat down and began looking at my stuff.
“Work, work, work, all you do.”
“Well the last time I checked all you do is play hockey, oh and what do you know? that’s your job,” I narrowed my eyes at him and snatched back the papers he had been flipping through.
“No look after you is full time job.”
“Well I am not making you stay.”
“But want to,” he steadied my writing hand.

“Evgeni,” I warned.
“Just looking,” he flipped my hand over and began tracing each finger one by one with his index finger.
“Do you mind?”
“You have small hands,” he continued to stare at them.
“No you just have abnormally huge hands, mine are normal.”

Evgeni’s POV
“No yours small,” I continued to argue.
“Ok put your hand up,” she pushed out hands together to measure just how different in size they were.

She was falling right into my plan. One thing that I noticed scared Jessie was touching but this way she was getting used to my hands in without the pressure.

“Ok your distracting me,” she turned her attention back to her work, “if I can get a good grade for this senior year I may just have a chance getting a full time job with the Pirates.”
“Work for Penguins, we better,” it would be interesting to say the least working with Jessie, I knew there would be no way I would be able to keep my hands off of her in the gym, but that work place allows a little touching, especially if it is a nice massage.
“No I like having my Christmases off.”
“But Summer?”

If she worked in baseball while I was playing hockey our seasons would be opposite to each other. So while she was working I would be in Russia. No that can’t happen.

“I like winter more,” she shrugged.
“No one like winter,” I frowned.
“Don’t doubt what I like. Besides what is wrong with curling up on the couch with hot chocolate and movies?”
“Need someone to cuddle.”
“Well you’re a pretty good teddy bear, but you snore,” she looked disapprovingly.
“Not snore.”
“I can hear you through that wall,” she pointed to the wall separating the lounge room and her bedroom.
“Lies,” I got up and headed over to the kitchen.
“Go make dinner,” she scoffed.
“I will,” she poked her tongue out at me.

I enjoyed the back and forth that Jessie and I always had. It was refreshing. We agreed on a lot but she was headstrong and while sometimes it was bad it made for some interesting and fun conversations.

“I am going for a shower,” she announced getting up and leaving me with cooking dinner and my thoughts.

If I could just get Jessie to see that I am what she needs then maybe I could fix whatever was wrong.

I couldn’t think about it for very long because when she returned I wasn’t even thinking about dinner anymore.
“Mmm smells good,” I watched her as she came back into the dining room. I completely ignored the fact that she was hobbling and could only focus on how the singlet she wore clung to her every curve and how her sweats wear tight enough I could get a good look at her ass.
“What are you doing?” she looked up with a smile on her face catching me out.
“Nothing,” I fumbled the spoon I was holding.

Why did she have to be so pretty? I couldn’t think straight around her.

We sat down on the couch eating dinner and drinking a few beers just to relax while we watched when Jessie looked up at me from where her head was resting on my chest.
“What?” I looked down at her and I could see she was about to talk.
