Finding Lauralie

The one thing I learned about Cara is when she starts to do something she has no clue about she taps her pen and let me say its an annoying habbit. I grabbed her hand and laughed at her and she let out a small laugh.
"im doing it again im sorry"
she put her pen behind her ear and grabbed her book turning it to me.
"You learn any of this yet"
I grabbed her book reading over the formulas and running the equations over and over again.
"yes X= 4.564"
she sighed and rolled her eyes.
"avanced chemistry nice"
I said smiling and showing her how I got my answer.
"thats mad fucking easy why cant you always teach me"
I snickered.
"im always here when you need me"
I finished up typing the essay due next week.
"is that your Nursing essay"
I nodded.
"done and sent in already"
I said closing my laptop.
"I had a little help from my Mother she is a doctor"
I put my backpack in the corner of my room the grey color clashing with the bright green backpack I adorned.
"could you help me out with my Justice Essay"
I nodded.
"Later but I promised I would go out to eat with some of the other Medical Team students"
I grabbed my dress and quickly headed to my bathroom changing into the red clingy dress, I let my brown ringlets fall and put on mascara and red lipstick, I put converse on with my dress thinking I could because from my years of listening to Demi she said I could.
"you look so cute your curves look hella cute in this"
I smiled, I was the biggest girl in my sorority at 180 but who cares my weight dont define me.
"thanks love im just gonna go not for long"
she smiled.
"I invited my step-brother Riker to walk you I hope thats okay"
I blushed.
"sure thing"
she laughed grabbing the last of her stuff.
"dont worry he wont hit on you I already told him to bugger off"
I nodded.
"thats good im not looking for anything right now"
she nodded.
"oh I know"
I heard a door slam.
"that must be him"
I heard my door open.
"you cant knock freak"
she said shoving him, I watched him eye me up and down.
"You must be Lauralie I have to say you are rather beautiful"
I grabbed my purse.
"You must be Riker"
he nodded.
"your drooling by the way"
I said rushing past him to hug Cara.
"he promised to behave"
she said side looking him, he smiled brightly at her showing off his pearly whites.
"I have to go... you coming or you going to make me late"
I said starting down the stairs his footsteps stayed with Cara and I walked out of the house thanking my sisters as I passed them.
"wait up"
I heard Riker say running after me.
"you didnt wait"
I snickered.
"Im a half hour late"
he smiled.
"well a queen has to make her enterence"
I shoved him a little.
"you know I promised my sister I would leave you alone but when your in that dress its kind of hard to resist"
I let out a laugh.
"I think me and you could be good friends"
he smiled.
"I dont do girlfriends so friends is nice"
I let out a light laugh.
"well I dont do boyfriends I am focusing on my future more than a man"
he stared at me and smiled we walked up to the building.
"they are kind of stuck up a little"
he looked at me and smiled.
"dont worry I am going to the bar if you need me just wave at me okay"
I nodded.
"thanks"
I smiled walking in Rikers hand ran across my behind but before I could say anything he was gone I was waved over by the four males and the one female who showed up.
"do you really think you should wear that dress"
I heard Micheal say and I rolled my eyes.
"I can wear whatever I feel like after all who really runs the world"
Daphne snickered and gave me a side hug.
"men am I right"
I grabbed his shot and drank it.
"now were even for the comment"
I dragged off Daphne and danced, after a few hours of fun I felt someones hand on my waist it was Michael I moved his hands but he grabbed my waist and turned me around placing a kiss on my mouth I pulled away slapping him.
"whats the matter with you"
I scanned the bar for Riker I couldnt see him, he ditched me.
"I am gonna go"
I said grabbing my purse and rushed out of the bar and their he stood smoking outside, I saw him run after me.
"Hey slow down"
I felt tears roll down my face.
"whats wrong did someone touch you"
I sobbed.
"where were you he was grabbing me you promised you would be at the bar"
he looked shocked.
"I was occupied"
I saw some girl glaring at us.
"do me a favor never talk to me again and I will never mention this night again"
I ripped my hand from his again and walked away clutching my bag.
"Laura wait"
I shook my head and just took off I didn't end up going back to my dorm I stopped in at Kappa Nu's Party.
"Laura hey"
I gave Cara a light smile.
"where's Riker"
I shrugged grabbing a cup and disappearing into the crowd Cara hot on my trail.
"hey are you okay"
I nodded staying quiet I was getting rather aggravated but I didn't want to take it out on her.
"someone from my Nursing class decided to feel me up"
she turned me around.
"where was Riker"
I shrugged.
"I just want to forget tonight is that okay"
she nodded.
