For The Love Of You

In So Many Words

Justin ended up with a hickey a short time after that. When he put Ryan down, he dragged her to the first people he saw, which were Pierce The Veil. She rolled her eyes as she was being pulled through the crowds.

"Guys." Justin cleared his throat.

"Ryan." Vic smiled.

"What up, pretty boy?" Ryan asked.

"Hello. People. See this? She gave me a hickey." Justin said slowly.

"And you're complaining?" A guy asked from a chair making Ryan laugh.

"What's your name?" She asked him.

"Jaime." He told her.

"Jaime. Okay. I like it. I'm Ryan." She said.

"Hello." He smiled.

"Does no one see this? Problem. All because of her tramp stamp." Justin said.

"He provoked it. I bit him, he provoked it. I gave him a hickey, he provoked it." Ryan said.

"You're a firecracker, aren't you?" Vic asked her.

"Hell yeah she is. I didn't even get to her biting me." Justin said.

"You can go away. Pretty boy's here." She said making Vic smile.

"Fine, fine. Be at our set or you're getting a bite and a hickey." Justin told her before he left.

"He's just so demanding." Ryan rolled her eyes.

"Ryan, this is Jamie and Tony. And Dylan." Vic said.

"Hello, people." Ryan smiled.

"You have a tramp stamp?" Jaime asked her.

"It's a mock tramp stamp. There's a difference." She said.

"Nothing for the imagination here?" He said making her laugh.

She rolled her eyes smiling and turned around. She lifted up her shirt and waited a minute before she turned back around. It was one of her favorite tattoos, she just wasn't happy about the placement. She lost a bet against Chris and had to get it on her lower back.

"That's so cool. That's a skeleton?" Vic asked her.

"Yeah. It's a pumpkin spewing his guts, seeds, on a skeleton." Ryan said.

"Interesting." Tony said.

"Says you. When was the last time you saw your skin?" She asked making him smile.

"Been a while. You have your wrists done?" He asked.

"They say 'There's A Place We Could Find Where This Pain Is Useless' on my left and 'We'll Forever Be The Young' on the right. It's Yellowcard." She said.

"Oh, I like you." Jaime smiled.

"She's a drummer. Where's ours?" Vic asked.

"I don't know. What do you play in?" Tony asked her.

"Madden." Ryan said.

"Wait, wait. You're Ryan Madden?" Jaime asked her.

"That's what they tell me." She nodded.

"You know Ryan Madden?" Tony asked Vic.

"I'm her pretty boy." Vic grinned making Ryan smile.

"That you are. I hear you guys are fans. I'm a fan of you guys." Ryan said.

"How do you live in San Diego and not be a fan of Madden?" Jaime said.

"You're from San Diego?" Vic asked her.

"Yep." Ryan said.

"Us, too." He said.

"Oh, awesome." She smiled.

"What's awesome?" A voice asked from behind her.

She turned slightly, following the body. When he was standing next to her, she followed the tattoos to the face. It had been four months since she'd seen those tattoos. She smiled and shook her head. Who knew?

"Hi." She said.

"Hi. What are you doing here?" He asked slowly.

"Hanging out." She shrugged.

"You guys know each other?" Vic asked.

"You know her?" Mike asked him.

"I have for a like three hours." Vic said.

"Oh. Okay." Mike nodded.

"This is Ryan. She's in Madden. Well, I guess is Madden, right?" Jaime said. Ryan nodded.

"You're in a band?" Mike asked her.

"I am." She smiled.

"You're Ryan Madden?" He asked slowly.

"I'm pretty sure it's official." She said.

"You...okay. Umm. Alright." He said.

"Relax." She smirked.

"Ryan Madden. You're Ryan Madden." He smiled.

"He's so amazed." Ryan said slowly.

"Why, is the question." Vic said slowly.

"Hey, I gotta go watch my boys. Justin's gonna bite me if I'm not there. I'll see you guys later." She said slowly.

"Is that just a Ryan thing or can you spare some pretty boy time?" Vic asked her.

"Pretty boy, hell yeah. Let's go." She smiled.

"Where?" Mike asked slowly.

"Sleeping With Sirens set." Vic said.

"Just a Ryan and pretty boy thing?" Mike asked.

"All are welcome. Either of you wanna come?" Ryan asked Jaime and Tony.

They both got up and soon enough Ryan was walking to watch some of her favorite people in the world with some new buds, she was sure of. She wasn't expecting to ever see Mike again, so that was kinda odd.

"Girl!" Gabe yelled smiling when he saw her.

"Loveboy! Gonna take your shirt off?" She asked him.

"For you, of course." He smiled.

"You're wonderful." She told him.

Ryan stood with two guys she just met, one she'd already given a name to and one she never thought she'd see again. She could feel Mike looking at her once in a while, but she ignored it. When the set was over, Justin walked right up to her.

"How long have you been here?" He asked her.

"Since the beginning." She told him.

"I didn't see you before we went on." He said.

"I talked to Gabe!" She said.

"Oh, yeah?" He asked.

"You don't believe me? Go ask Gabe." She said.

"Nun uh. Here's your bite." He told her before he bit her ear.

"Whoa, that is weird." She laughed.

"You'll get your hickey later." He told her before he kissed her cheek and walked away.

Ryan rolled her eyes watching him walk after the rest of his band mates. She rubbed her ear smiling. It was weird. She couldn't imagine how weird it would be to have gauges and have someone bite your ear.

"You bite people?" Jaime asked her smiling.

"Just Justin. And one of my band mates." Ryan said.

"You give hickeys?" He asked.

"Again, just Justin." She said.

"That's so weird." He said making her laugh.

"Appreciate it." She said.

It didn't take much for Vic, Jaime and Tony to leave when Mike made something up. Ryan figured he'd want to talk to her, she just wasn't sure why he would want to talk to her. But, she'd talk to him. Why not? She had nothing to lose.

"So you're here. And you're Ryan Madden." He said as they started walking around.

"I am here and I am Ryan Madden. I wasn't aware you were in a band either." She said.

"I wasn't the who made out with some guy in a bar." He said.

"No, you were the one who made out with some girl in a bar." She told him.

"And here you are." He finished.

"Here I am. You're in Pierce The Veil. Weird." She said.

"You're...Madden." He said slowly.

"Why does that make me feel like I'm so old?" She laughed.

"How old are you?" He asked.

"Twenty six." She told him.

"And you've been around how long?" He asked.

"Like a Warped Vet? Uhh, I started playing Warped seven years ago." She said.

"Interesting." He said slowly.

"I like your band mates. Are you gonna make this weird?" She asked.

"No. It's just weird. Didn't think I'd see you again." He shrugged.

"Me either. How about four months ago was four months ago and today is today." She said.

"Okay." He said.

"Then on that note, relax." She told him.

"Ryan!" She heard Jake's voice scream as he ran towards her.

"Are you on drugs?" She asked him when he stopped on front of her.

"No. Are you?" He asked.

"Not at the moment. What's up?" She asked. Mike smiled.

"Molly just called me. Crying." Jake said.

"I didn't make her cry." Ryan told him.

"But, she did tell me she called you crying." He said.

"She told me not to tell you. Why was she crying to you?" She asked.

"She's worried I'll find some new girl or something." He shook his head.

"She told me the same thing. Anyway, you need to calm it down. Oh, and this is Mike." She said.

"You gotta stop with the guys, man." He shook his head smiling.

"Whoa, whoa now. I'm not the one with a chick and a kid back home." She said.

"Calm down." He said.

"Are you gonna leave now?" She asked him.

"Yes. Don't break any bones." He told her before he walked away.

"He would've said hi to you, but his girlfriend's having a meltdown." Ryan told Mike.

"Do you have a problem breaking bones, Ryan?" Mike asked her.

"I'm sort of an action first, think later kind of person. Do it now, regret it later." She shrugged.

"So he seems to think you need to stop with guys, whatever that means. Still have chicks kissing you in bars?" He asked.

"Not lately. He just meant that I don't like, hang out with girls. All my friends are guys." She told him.

"I don't remember that." He nodded toward the tattoo of all of her brothers initials on the inside of her left arm.

"I don't think it was visible then. They're my brothers initials." She said.

"That's...how many?" He asked.

"Four. Adam, Cliff, Danny and Matt. We all have each others initials in the same place." She told him, touching it with a smile.

"Safe to say you're big on family, then." He said.

"In so many words." She said slowly.

Family wasn't Ryan's first subject. She loved her brothers to death and she loved her mother. That was enough for her. She didn't need her father in her life. She and Mike walked around for a while until they ended up running into Justin.

"Hey, Girl." He smiled.

"What up, Baby?" She asked.

"Not much. You switched brothers." He said.

"With Vic? I was unaware. I see that now." She said looking over at Mike.

"Chris is looking for you." Justin told her.

"I'll find him later." She said.

"Where have you been?" He asked.

"Walking around with this one." She said nodding towards Mike.

"Just from a third party here, is she always this hyper?" Mike asked Justin.

"Hyper. Insane, yeah." Justin nodded.

"People, people. I just like to have a little fun." Ryan shook her head smiling.

"And get hurt or arrested in the process?" Justin said.

"Okay, okay. We get it. Let's leave Ryan's antics at the door." Ryan said slowly.

"Ryan's antics? You have antics?" Mike asked her.

"You two would get along." Justin said slowly.

"That's why he's...Tall boy. Wanna be Tall boy?" Ryan asked Mike.

"Sure. Yeah." Mike smiled.

"What happened to just Vic? Now you're just...adding people." Justin asked her.

"But he's tall. You know I love tall people." Ryan told him.

"You're tall. How tall are you?" Mike asked her.

"Five ten and a half. The half makes a difference." She told him making him laugh.

"I'm sure it does." He said.

"You're my tall boy, now. Baby, tell him the rules." She smiled.

"Rules are, you get to call her Girl now. Kellin's Boy, Gabe's loveboy, Jesse's Redboy, Jack's Smiley Boy, Vic's Pretty boy and I'm her Baby because I'm special. She's Girl." Justin told Mike.

"You're just Girl?" Mike asked Ryan.

"To my boys. You're in the pack now. Aren't you excited? I am." Ryan smiled.

"I'm your boy now?" He asked.

"You have a name, you are. Now you just have to live up to your name. We'll be tall together." She said.

"Yes, we will." He nodded.

"Stop adding people. Your loveboy's gonna get jealous." Justin told her.

"My loveboy is numero uno. He's precious." Ryan smiled.

"Loveboy is Gabe?" Mike asked.

"Yep. We share drummer love." She smiled.

"Wait, wait. I get no drummer love?" He asked smirking.

"You can have drummer love." She said.

"Every guy you meet." Justin rolled his eyes before he walked away.

"Alright, are guys super into you that you just don't notice or the other way around?" Mike asked slowly.

"I used to not notice it. But, the night I met you, I was like, whoa. It happens. It freaks me out, man." She shook her head.

"Well, you're welcome. I don't know how you've gone your whole life and never noticed it. It's very in your face." He said.

"Not to me. I never got attention like that, you know? I grew up with four younger brothers. I climbed trees and pretended I was a monkey, I didn't wear cute little pink dresses." She said.

"And that's why you don't hang out with girls?" He asked.

"No, I don't hang out with girls because girls are bitches. Have you ever seen Mean Girls? They're all backstabbing whores." She said slowly.

"You really dislike girls." He laughed.

"I've never had good experiences with the female gender. Guys are so much easier to like. No secrets, no cat fights. Just, friends or not." She said.

"Too bad they all wanna tear your clothes off." He said.

"My friends don't. That's why they're my friends." She said.

"Did you really not just see that with Justin?" He asked.

"Eww, no." She shook her head.

I guess I'll end up saying I hate all the early chapters, because I don't like this one. Anyway, it took four chapters for Mike to come into the story for a reason. I hate to have to post two chapters in one night, but obviously I'm not keeping up with this as often as I thought I was going to be. Enjoy this one!
