Their hands fit perfectly together. She would catch his eye in the middle of the room and watch his eyes crinkle in a smile, knowing that she and she alone, had put it there. He knew that when she was upset that she blinked a lot, trying to blink back her tears.

However, they were completely unaware of the other’s feelings, fearing that their friendship, solidly built over the years, would be destroyed after expressing their love for the other.

But he couldn’t ignore his feelings any longer. He was going to tell her how he felt, and he was going to do it tonight. He couldn’t let her slip out of his fingers, especially when they fit perfectly into his.
