Status: I'm new here so I have no idea if I'll have any readers or not. Mibba told me that this section is my message for my readers. Hm. I just want to let you all know that I am big fan of bacon.

Stuck Between Two Walls

Chapter 3

~*~
I didn't see my hero today. Maybe he's busy saving other people. Who knows? I have no contact with him since I decided to ignore him yesterday with the whole college paper things. I'm weird and I can't help it. Trig was once again a black hole since it seemed to suck incredibly today. But today was more interesting than usual since a new guy was introduced to us.

The new guy who I thought was interesting at first is now the most annoying person in the planet. He is what I considered a hellhound from the pit of the Underworld.

After he asked my name, actually no. After he made an over-enthusiast to ask my name, he managed a big laugh and he continued to be that jerky way for the past few hours of lunch period. I don't even think that he touched his food after that. So me, being me, I decided to do the brightest idea of just glaring at him. I don't even think I eat, either.

And also, I walked home. alone yes, today. That's not really a problem anymore since I'm kinda used to it. And being alone makes you appreciate the world that surrounds you more. Like the singing of the birds that seem to dance around your heads, making you look like their next target. The rustling of the leaves that almost made me smile because it's not yet fall. A suspicious black car that seems to be following you. And the ticktacking of the keyboard as you write this. Yeah. I seriously need to rest. My mind is fried and tired and I'm not completely aware of what I'm writing about.

"Leslie, darling." I can hear someone knocking on my door.

Rubbing my tired eyes, I went toward my door and opened it. I was greeted by my mom who looked like she just won the lottery. "We have some good news for you!"

I yawned first before replying, "Really?"

"Come downstairs." She said with a big smile as she grabbed my wrist and almost dragged me down the stairs.

My dad was also smiling hugely from the couch. That was when I noticed those big baggage on the floor. "Leslie, honey."

Okay, maybe I was a little exaggerating when I said that my parents hated me. They cared about me alright but not like the big bonding parents I've always wanted. They don't care that I'm always alone. They don't care that I don't have any friends.

"What's up?"

"Leslie, we're going on vacation!" my mom exclaimed

See? I told you they don't care that I'm always alo-Wait, what? My tired brain seemed to drink a lot of coffee since my whole system suddenly went to its senses in hyper mode. "What?"

"One month vacation in Europe. Okay, it's mostly work but we're going away." My mom told me, smoothing my hair.

"Then why are you telling me this only now?" Honestly, I want to throw those baggage at my parents. Like, are they out of their freaking minds? SERIOUSLY.

"I thought you told her." My dad hissed at my mom.

My mom gave him an innocent look. "I got scared."

"WHAT?" I practically exploded.

"Don't worry. The things are all settled." They told me in unison which involves the same set of movements with the same excited smiles.

---

When my mom said all the things are settled, all that came to my mind was that all the financial thingy are in order. I have food. I have allowance. Emergency money is at hand. All that.

But I wasn't expecting this.

My mother, together with my dad who is carrying another loadful of baggage, pressed the doorbell.

I should be happy but I can't smile when I can feel my heart hammering loudly against my chest. My heart seemed to raised and it started flying into different galaxies right now.

I am freaking nervous.

The door swung open and we were greeted by a warm smile. "Oh, Mr. And Mrs. Diaz, come in. And of course, pretty Leslie. You're always welcome inside."

Damian's mom stood before us, looking completely hospitable. She shook my parent's hands and to my absolute surprise, she took my bags in her hands.

Mrs. Klutz smiled at me. "Your parents told me the news weeks ago and so we were prepared about this."

My parents were planning this whole get-away to Europe weeks ago. WEEKS AGO!

I looked at my parents, trying my hardest to give them the glare they deserve. And I made sure that there were acid spewing from my eyes.

"Well, I'd love to come in, Dianne but we have a plane to catch." My dad told her, smiling apologetically. "Again, we're sorry about the inconvenience we're causing you."

"Nonsense. I've always wanted a daughter. I'm sure Leslie would enjoy every moment of her stay here."

"Thank you so much." My mom told her and she looked at me with a stern look. "Leslie, darling, don't give her a hard time."

Mrs. Klutz chuckled. "Oh, I'm pretty sure she won't."

My mom and dad smiled at her really sincerely and they both gave me a hug and a kiss on the forehead with murmuring, "We'll miss you, honey."

After one last hand shake and thank you's, they waved goodbye to Mrs. Klutz and they stormed off.

I faced Mrs. Klutz who looked at me cheerfully, "Well, Leslie. Let's get going and you need to unpack this bag."

Okay, after much realization of my writing, I have to admit that I'm not exactly the best writer there is. I don't even think I am a writer, to begin with. I write this story for fun. I picture something in my head and I try - TRY- to translate it on paper. So that pretty much explains how this is so random. I write like that. I just go with the flow. It's fun :D So yeah. Anyway, the words inside the (~*~) are from her blog. Yeah, Leslie's blog. It was supposed to be italicized but Mibba mysteriously won't let me do that. I am clueless and new. Haha. Thanks for taking the time to read this :D
