Familiar Faces

The beginning of the car journey consisted of Cas asking Sam what happened which Sam told him. Izzy sat in the back next to us looking very concerned for me but also relieved that Dean was holding me and helping me. On the other hand Dean was watching the rain on the car window. It looked like he was for once taking in the view. Most of the time he was the one driving the impala and if he wasn’t he was most likely catching up on lost sleep. He looked lost and lonely not being behind the wheel of the impala. I was still on his lap whilst i kept the pressure on my shoulder with Sam’s jacket. Dean saw me fumbling with the material and struggling to get a good grip on it so he took over. He smiled down on me still having watery eyes. I guess he isn’t as un emotional as he shows himself to be. I wriggled up closer into his chest as it was warm and comforting. He wrapped his free arm tight around me and rested his chin on my head. I placed my head in the gap between his shoulder and neck and he continued to lean on me. Dean went back to looking out the window as i saw Sam glance at me through the mirror. I gave him a smile as he smiled back. For the moment my shoulder wasn’t in a lot of pain due to Dean keeping the pressure on it. However i was sure it was going to sting like a bitch when they have to take the bullet out and give me stitches and all that crap. I hate hospitals. I could feel myself getting more and more tired. I had no idea if this was because if i had lost a lot of blood or if it was due to being smacked up against the wall and hitting my head. Dean saw me nodding off and whispered into my ear
“Han, don’t go falling asleep yet we are nearly at the hospital.”
“mmmm.. im tired Dean.”
“i know, just stay awake for me ok? Once they have helped you, you can sleep all you want!”
“ok..thanks Dean”
He unwrapped his arm around me and held my hand with his “don’t mention it” he said into my hair as he rested his head on mine once again.
