The girl on the table opposite me was thinking about telling her boyfriend that she'd been cheating on him with his best friend for the past seven months. Her boyfriend was sat opposite her and he was thinking whether now was the right time to propose.

The man on the table in front of me was thinking about all the trouble he's had with his wife and the plan's he had made to kill her. He was thinking whether he should do it tonight or whether he should wait longer and whether he should kill her with a knife or a gun.

The man on the table in the corner by the window, was thinking about whether he should tell my secrect or whether he knew what I was thinking. He knew this because he was a mind reader.

I was a mindreader.
