New City, New Place, New Me

I went to the Panic show and watched Brendon be the happiest I had ever seen him. The crowd were buzzing off his energy and he was being his old usual weird, whacky and hyper self. He kept smiling at me as I stood at the side of the stage and a lot of fans noticed and kept looking my way with smiles. I gave them an awkward friendly wave.
Ryan soon appeared and stood next to me.
“glad im not on the stage that might cause an uproar” Ryan said and we both laughed, that would set everything off for the p!atd lovers.
Brendon looked our way again and we both waved at him. It was the end of the show and of the encore and Brendon came off the stage and engulfed me in a massive sweaty hug.
I found out we would be staying behind for about 2 hours as there was an exclusive meet and greet but they switched it to after the show. We had 30 minutes to kill so Brendon made me go stand on the floor where the audience stood as he got his acoustic guitar up on stage. I looked at him in confusion.
“I wrote this song ages ago when we were together, you probably know it but just wanted you to realise who it was about” he said and I blushed knowing he was about to sing to me.

I stood there in utter awe and ran up to the stage to him. He put the guitar down and I ran and hugged him.
I whispered into his ear “thank you”
“thank you?” he questioned.
“just for being you” I said and looked at him.
“I don’t ever want us to split apart again ok?” he said grabbing my face in-between his hands and pulling me closer.
“ok” I whispered as we kissed embracing the moment.
It was always him.
