Twenty Nine

Alex pulled up to the entrance of the hospital, switching on his hazard lights with Zack fast approaching and copying his actions. Paige hopped out of the car as quickly as she could, rushing to Bella's door and opening it for her, jumping around excitedly. Rian tried to keep calm as he got out of the car and was handed the keys to Bella's car by Alex. He got in the driver's seat as he and Zack and Jack drove the cars to find available parking spaces next to each other, Jack now sitting in the front of Bella's car with a slight frown. Alex and Paige had dragged Bella from the passenger's seat and laughed as she'd cursed and stomped her feet every time she had a contraction. They'd linked arms around her and were practically hauling her into the reception of the hospital.

Paige walked up to the reception desk to find the young woman staring in awe over at Alex and Bella, who were sharing a moment which could only be described as cute, as Alex held his hands on the bump and laughed as he tried to push the baby up to stop her from coming out too soon. Paige laughed as she looked back. "Yeah, erm.. my friend is in labour and having contractions."

"You mean.. Bella is finally having the baby?" The woman at the front desk asked, obviously aware of the situation.

"Yes. Now please do something about it. She is in tremendous pain and was screaming the house down before we left."

"That's understandable. How frequent are her contractions?"

"Well it took us about half an hour to get here, and I'd say she had about ten! So pretty damn frequent!" Paige huffed. The woman could see she was getting impatient.

"I know this is about Bella, but will the other boys be here? I need to know because if they will be, we can give Bella her own room."

"Of course they are, they're parking the cars."

The woman quickly typed in some information on the computer, frequently looking over Paige's shoulder at Bella and Alex, smiling to herself as she continued. "Will she be able to walk to the room, or will she need a wheelchair? Because the room is quite a far journey down the other end of the hospital.. as much as I hate to break it to you."

"Bella, did you hear that?" Paige repeated over to Bella.

"Yeah, I think I'm gonna need a wheelchair." Bella looked down at her bump, realising that the contractions were getting less far apart. Alex panicked as he held Bella's bump, laughing and smiling up at Bella.

Bella found herself in a private room, surrounded by her fiance and her best friend, and the rest of All Time Low. In everything she had ever wished for, she could honestly say that she had never wished for something like this. And in all of the things she had ever hoped for out of life, she had never, ever seen this happening to her. To Bella, it felt like a really weird dream that she was going to wake up from anytime soon. A good dream, but a weird dream nevertheless. Alex was holding her hand and Paige was lying next to her, cuddling her. Rian, Jack and Zack were sitting around the room, tapping their feet and showing many signs of anxiety as they all awaited the arrival of Isobel.

The Nurse had been popping in and out every now and again to check on Bella, telling her that they would soon be able to tell her how dilated she was. That as soon as they knew, she would be able to receive any treatment she wanted and that they would soon hopefully be able to begin with the birth. Bella didn't know what to feel as she waited for the Nurse to come back.

Rian, Jack and Zack left the room as the Nurse entered, practically shooing them out of the way as she took her place between Bella's legs, acknowledging the nervous grin on Bella's face. "Bella.." she begun. "I'm happy to tell you that you are now 9cm dilated.. you only need to be another 1cm and then you can start giving birth!"

Bella looked at Paige with an excited grin, as she felt Alex tighten his grip on her hand.
