“So that’s not all that happened last night,” I said after my red face finally calmed down.
Kylee’s eyes went wide, “What else could have possibly happened?”
I smirked and bit my lip, “He asked me to move in.”
“Oh my God! What did you say??”
“Yes, of course!”
“Isn’t that a little fast?”
I shrugged, “I love him and we talked about it some more. He is going to be leaving a lot more now for his races and knowing I’m there will make him feel better and he...” I blushed slightly, “He loves the fact that I’ll be there when he gets home.”
A smile broke out on her face, “Awwwww that’s super cute.”
“I thought so.”
“I told you that you two would be perfect together!”
“Yeah yeah I know.”
“So are you going to try to go to some races?”
“Not without you.”
“Well it’s a good thing that I’m planning on going to as many as I can.”
“I don’t think I can go to a lot, I can’t leave the shop anymore.”
“Well we’ll just have work it out. The local races you have to go to and Wil is probably going to want you to go to his hometown race. Meet his parents and stuff,” She said nonchalantly.
My eyes went wide, “Meet his parents?”
She shrugged, “I’m sure that’s the next step. I mean you are moving in with the guy.”
“Oh my God,” I groaned slightly.
“Don’t worry about it, they’ll love you.”
I rolled my eyes at her.
“What? They will. Wilbur does so they will too.”
I bit my lip and nodded, “He does love me doesn’t he?”
She chuckled, “Yeah he does.”
“So when are you and Jake going to take the next step?”
She raised an eyebrow, “Next step?”
“When are we going to hear wedding bells?”
“I uh...I don’t know.”
“You’ve never talked about it?”
Kylee gave a little shrug, “We have just not a whole lot.”
I shook my head with a slight smile and picked up the phone in front of me and started dialing a number.
“Who are you calling?”
“Ohhhh nobody.”
“Hannah!”
I shushed her right before the person on the other line picked up.
‘Hello?’
“Hello Jacob.”
‘What can I help you with Sunshine?’
“Oh I just need you to answer some questions.”
‘Alright? Fire away I guess.’
“Do you like Kylee?”
Jake actually laughed out loud, ‘What kind of stupid question is that?’
“Just answer it.”
‘Of course I do.’
“Then why haven’t you put a ring on it yet?” I sent Kylee a wink.
Kylee started giggling, “Oh my God Hannah.”
‘Did you really just quote Beyonce to me?’
“Yes I did.”
‘Wil!’ Jake called through the phone, ‘Your girlfriend is really weird.’
‘That’s why I love her!’ I heard Wil yell back.
I giggled, “Well alright that’s all I needed to say.”
Jake chuckled, ‘Okay, tell Kylee I’ll see her at home.’
“Will do. Tell Wil I’ll see him later tonight too.”
‘I heard you two were going to start playing house together.’
“Yup! You going to help me pack up my apartment?”
‘I wasn’t planning on it.’
“Rude.”
‘I’m kidding! You know I’ll be there.’
“Good. Bye Jakey.”
“Goodbye Sunshine.”
I hung up the phone and turned back to Kylee who just shook her head at me.
“You are ridiculous.”
“Yeah I know but you love me.”
“That I do. So when do you want us over to help you move?”
“As soon as possible.”
She grinned, “Of course. So this weekend?”
I nodded quickly, “I’m slowly packing up the smaller things.”
“Where are you going to put all your stuff from the apartment?”
“Have you been to Wil’s house? That place is so bare,” I started laughing.
Kylee and I continued talking about all the exciting things that were happening in our lives. Things were looking awesome for us and I couldn’t be happier.
