We Have Lost Our Way

-Fast forward to the day of the meeting-

Alexs POV:
I woke up pretty annoyed, i knew i was gonna be yelling at someone today. Since i was allowed to bring someone with me i was gonna bring Rian. Later we went to the meeting at the school, when i saw Heidis mom and dad outside the room i honestly just wanted to leave.

"Hello Alex" Donna said

"I dont want to speak to you, im here for my daughter and thats it" i said

"Missed you at the meeting the other day when your daughter bullied my daughter" she said

"I was fucking sick!. And your daughter is no fucking angel either" i said

"Mhm, whatever. So whos the new guy with you, are you a gay polygamist?" she asked and i laughed

"Rian is my friend. Fuck you" i said

"You guys may come in now" the guidance councilor said coming out of the conference room

We went in and all the teachers that have Caitlyn and Heidi in the same class were there. I was super annoyed by all the things Donna was saying, shes such a fucking moron. When the gym teacher was talking about trying to mend their relationship i fucking lost it.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me!" i said

"What?" the gym teacher Mrs. Lara asked

"Try to get them to be friends!?. Are you fucking high!?" i said

"Alex" Rian said warning

"No Rian, do you hear this shit!?. My daughter will not become friends with that little bitch and i know for a fact she wont wanna. Thats fucking stupid" i said

"Excuse me?. Dont talk about my little girl that way" Heidis dad Wes said

"When your daughter calls my daughter names and says shit about her home life. Which your fucking kid has no clue about by the way. I will call the little bitch whatever i damn well please!" i said

"My daughter is a good girl" he said

"If shes so fucking good, why does she pick on my daughter for no fucking reason!?" i said

"Because your living a life of sin" he said

"Oh god the gay thing again?!. Listen!, im not fucking gay. Even if i was thats still a fucked up reason" i said

"Mr. Gaskarth, calm down" the principal said

"Calm down!?. Are you fucking kidding me?" i said

"Can you just put them in different classes?" Rian asked

"Thats not how we do things here. Were gonna try to get them to make amends first" she said

"This isnt fucking friendship camp!. The girls hate eachother, can we please just switch their classes?" i said

"No" she said

"Fuck. You know what, fuck this shit. Im gonna just pull my daughter out of school and put her in a better one not run but fucking morons!" i said

"Thats a little ridiculous" she said

"No. Its really not. Your fucking lucky im not taking this shit to the board of ed" i said

"Well you dont have to pull her out of school" she said

"Your not her parent. I cant do whatever i fucking please, shes my daughter. This meeting is fucking pointless" i said

"Well i see where Caitlyn gets the attitude" Donna said

"I see where your daughter gets her ugly looks and shit personality" i said

"I feel bad for Caitlyn, having to grow up with you" she said

"Oh shove it up your ass. Im leaving, this is a waste of my god damn time. Come on Rian" i said getting up

"Mr. Gaskarth!, were not finished here" the principal said

"Well i am. Ive made my mind up on what i wanna do" i said and me and Rian left

Caitlyn was waiting for us in the lobby, she saw the look on my face and stopped herself from saying what she was gonna say. When we got home i told Caitlyn to go up to her room so me and Rian could talk about the meeting. I was pacing the kitchen freaking out and Rian was making coffee.

"Alex stop pacing, its making me anxious" Rian said

"I cant!. That school is on crack, how could that bitch just think its okay to keep Caitlyn and Heidi in the same classes!" i said

"Schools are fucked like that" he said

"Well im not dealing with it!. These girls bother her every single fucking day, shes having a hard enough time with the whole Brook thing. Those girls are little bitches" i said

"Well you can either take her to another school or go to the board of ed" he said

"Yeah. I know what i wanna do, but i dont think she'll feel the same. She wont wanna leave her friends" i said

"Yeah" he said

"Caitlyn Gaskarth. Get down here!" i yelled and Caitlyn came down a few minutes later

"Yeah?" she asked

"I wanna discuss a issue with you" i said

"What?" she asked

"Since Heidis a bitch and the school you go to sucks. How would you feel about transferring?" i asked

"What?!" she yelled

"I think it would be good for you" i said

"No!. Absolutely not, i like my school. My friends are awesome and i love my writing class" she said

"But the girls-" i started and she cut me off

"Fuck them!. I dont give a fuck what they think!, im not gonna let them get to me" she said and i sighed and sat at the table

"Can we just talk about it?" i asked

"No dad!. I wanna stay where i am" she said

"Whatever. I cant even deal with you right now, go do your homework" i said

"Your mad at me because im actually happy where i go to school?. Thats fucking stupid" she said and went upstairs and i groaned

"Rian what the fuck am i gonna do" i said

"Shes happy in that school. Just let her go there" he said

"Yeah i guess your right" i sighed

"Pft, of course i am!. Im Rian, im always right" he said and i flipped him off

The rest of the day me and Rian just hung out, as he put it we dont bond enough. Later Jack came home and questioned me on the meeting which just pissed me off more. After a while i went upstairs to do laundry, while i was trying to slam the washer shut Caitlyn called my name and i went to her room.

"Yeah?" i asked

"Uhm...i have to ask you some stuff for my health homework" she said

"Why?" i asked

"Its for a project. Its a bitch to explain, just tell me your health history" she said and i raised my eyebrow at her and sat on her bed

"Okay, so what do you need to know?" i asked confused

"Like everything" she said

"Uhm...like, i have a dick?" i said confused

"Eww!. No!. Just like if you have health things like anxiety or like if you get chronic migraines, shit like that" she said

"I see. Okay well, i have anxiety and i get chronic migraines. You know your shit" i said

"Well the migraine thing i knew because of the other day and i just guessed on anxiety" she said

"Oh. I used to get nigh terrors as a kid" i said

"Me to" she said

"Wow, you really are me daughter!" i said and she laughed

"Can i have moms number?, i need her history as well" she said and i looked at her shocked

"Sure, why not" i said pulling out my phone and writing Brooks number on a piece of paper on her desk

"Thanks" she said and

"Of course" i said and left the room

The rest of the night went on like usual, we had dinner and watched movies and stuff. Later after Rian left Caitlyn went to her room to finish up her homework leaving me and Jack in the livingroom. After a while i went up to my room to get somthing and i heard Caitlyn on the phone crying to Cameron about Heidi, i got really frustrated and threw my phone at the wall which made Caitlyn come running in.

"What the fuck was that?!" she said and i could see the tears on her cheeks

"Nothing" i said

"Bullshit dad" she said annoyed

"Caitlyn leave daddy alone, hes having a mental breakdown" i said sitting on my bed

"A mental breakdown!?" she yelled

"Caitlyn. Get the fuck out!" i yelled at her

"Fucking ridiculous" she said and went to her room and slammed her door and a few seconds later Jack came running into my room

"Alex, what the fuck are you doing!?" he said

"Leave me alone" i said

"No. Tell me whats going on!" he said

"Nothing. Im just frustrated, i cant fucking do anything to help my daughter. I hate seeing her so upset because of these little whores from school" i said

"Well breaking shit isnt gonna solve your problems" he said

"I know, i just-...fuck it. I just wanna be left alone Jack. Please" i said

"No!. Your freaking me out dude, in all the years ive know you ive never seen you get so mad" he said

"Well theres a first time for everything" i said

"Its freaking me out dude. I hate seeing you like this" he said

"I know. You dont know how bad i wanna punch a bitch" i said

"Well you can't" he said

"But what i can do is find this little bitch and go over there and yell at her" i said

"Alex" he warned

"Nope ive made up my mind. Im looking her address up" i said

"Do whatever you want, just leave me out of it" he said

"What?. Of course your coming with me" i said

"Fuck" he whined and sat next to me on my bed while i googled Heidis parents

"It'll be fun" i said
