Best Places to Be a Mom

-Fast forward to the day of the ultrasound-

Alexs POV:
I woke up really early, i looked at the clock and it said it was 6:39 am. I was trying to figure out why i was up so damn early but then i figured it out. As i woke up more i felt hot, im getting sick of this horrible heat. I got up and took a quick shower and then made some coffee. Later Melody came into the livingroom and she looked tired.

"Hey babe" she said

"Hi" i mumbled into my pillow, i was lying on my stomach on the couch with my face in the pillow

"Whats wrong?" she asked

"Nothing. Its just hot" i said

"Yeah" she said

"You look exhausted" i said

"Sleep doesnt come easy" she said

"That fucking sucks" i said

"Mhm" she said pushing my feet away and she sat down

"You excited for today?" i asked

"Yes!" she said

Later we left to go to her appointment, i was really excited. The whole ride up there we were talking about what we thought the baby would be and what we would end up naming him or her. When we got to the doctors we only had to wait a few minutes before we were called back.

"So, how are you guys today?" the doctor asked

"Good" we said

"Good to hear. So how are you feeling?" she asked

"Fine. Im uncomfortable but im fine" Melody said

"Yeah well unfortunately thats expected" she said

"Mhm" Melody said

"So lets take a look at that baby shall we?" the doctor said

"Yes!" Melody said and the doctor lifted Melodys shirt and started the ultrasound

"Well everything looks fine. The baby is very healthy, heres the heartbeat" the doctor said

"Good" i said

"So about the sex, did you two wanna no it?" the doctor asked

"Yeah" Melody said

"Alright lets see......looks like you two are expecting a girl" the doctor said

"Really!?" Melody said

"Yep" the doctor said

"Thats awesome!" i said excited

"Mhm" the doctor said

After the appointment Melody called our parents, they were all so excited we were having a little girl. When we got home i texted all the guys and told them and they were pretty excited. Later on while Melody was working on a article and i was writing our door burst open and Jack came in.

"Hows my favorite person in the world doing!" Jack yelled

"Way to scare the fucking shit out of us!" Melody said

"Sorry. So hows my favorite person?" he asked

"Im good" i said

"Not you!. My niece" he said

"Shes fine Jack" Melody said

"Hello baby. Im your uncle Jack" he said getting down next to Melodys stomach

"Dude the baby isnt gonna fucking respond, you know that right?" i asked

"Well i know that. But ive heard they like talking" he said

"True" Melody said

"Hey baby, hi little sunshine" he said and i raised my eyebrow at him

"Weirdo. Stop making my baby all confused, she's gonna get our voices mixed up when i try talking to her" i said

"Shhh" he said

"Give it a few more weeks and we'll feel her kick" Melody said

"Fuck" he said

Later that night shit started to get really weird, ive realized that Jack and Melody in the same room is not good. Jack drew a smiley face on her stomach and now hes having conversations and Melodys answering for the baby and their both laughing so hard. I sat next to Jack and just observed what was happening.

"You two are fucking weird" i said

"Thanks" Jack said

"Sing to your daughter" Melody said

"Nahhh" i said

"Yes!" she said

"I have a sore throat, i dont wanna" i said

"Do you not love this little girl!?" Jack said

"Of course i do!" i said

"Well sing to her dammit!" he said

"Fine" i said and started singing Vegas and he cut me off

"No more!. Your voice is painful!, go drink some tea or something!" he said

"Fine" i said and i got up and left the room

I went into the kitchen and started making tea, i fucking loved me some tea. While i was making it my phone beeped and i picked it up and it said i had a text from Rian. I opened the texted and dropped my phone in annoyance at what it said, Jack ran in immediately.

"What the fuck are you doing!?" he said

"Rian texted me!. He said Breann got educational birth tapes for the four of us to watch" i said

"Why?" he asked

"I dont fucking know!. Rians girlfriend is crazy!" i said and he whined

"Ugh!. Im not having a baby!, why am i being dragged into this!" he said

"Because apparently she thought it'd be good for all of us to see the miracle of life being born. Because all of us will be fathers eventually, fucking freaking thought" i said

"Shit" he whined

"Why are you bitching!?. Im the one thats squeamish when it comes to blood" i said

"Thats true. Whatever you do, dont vomit on me" he said and i sighed
