Best Places to Be a Mom

-Fast forward two weeks-

The next morning i got up and showered, i was taking the day off today and my brother Eli was taking me for my appointment. At around 11 Eli came and picked me up and we went to the doctors office. While i was filling out paperwork he was looking through pamphlets, he looked uncomfortable.

"Whats up?" i asked not taking my eyes off the clipboard

"This is all just fucking insane, i cant believe your having a baby. I thought you wanted to wait to have kids until your married!" he said

"I did. Shit happens. Im still excited though" i said

"Mhm" he sighed

"What the fucks your problem?" i asked

"You want me to be honest?" he asked

"Yes" i said

"I was hoping you wouldnt have kids until you were married. I was hoping you'd be with a different man when you had kids. Theres somthing about Alex i dont like" he said

"So?. Hes my boyfriend, i love him" i said

"Is he being supportive?. Like going to appointments and helping you with whatever you need?" he asked

"Yes!. Hes so supportive" i said

"And he couldnt come to this appointment?" he asked

"He had shit to do!" i said

"Okay" he said unconvinced

"You know what. Leave. I'd rather just be here alone, your a prick" i said

"How will you get home!?" he said

"I'll call Alex or Jack. Anyone, im sick of you" i said

"Look. Your my baby sister and i love you, im protective and i dont like this situation and i certainly dont like Alex" he said

"So you fucking hate your niece?" i asked

"No!. Its just a iffy situation your in and it makes me nervous for you" he said

"Why?" i asked

"Hes a fucking rockstar, theres no saying he'll be around forever. He'll find some bimbo and leave you" he said

"Thats fucking bullshit!. You dont know what will happen. I honestly feel like everything will work out fine" i said

"You never know" he said

"Seriously?, leave" i said

"No" he said

"Get the fuck out, im fucking done with you!" i said and he left the waiting room

My appointment went good, the baby was doing really well which was a huge relief. After the appointment i called Rian and asked him to pick me up, he of course said yes. When he pulled up to the office he got out looking worried.

"Hey, why are you all alone?" he asked

"Because i am" i said as he helped me off the bench

"Wasnt your brother taking you today?" he asked

"Yes but hes a fucking prick and i hate him" i said

"Oh shit" he said opening my door for me and i got in and then he went and got in

"He basically said he thinks Alex will be a deadbeat dad" i said

"I dont think so" he said

"Right!" i said

"Ive known Alex a long time, he really really loves you and i can see it. Ive never seen him so happy with a girl the way he is with you, before you got pregnant or now. He'd never fucking leave you or his baby" he said

"I know" i said tearing up as he pulled onto the road

"It'll be fine. I can see where your brother is coming from, but hes dead wrong" he said

"Mhm" i said

"So, want me to take you home?" he asked

"Take me to Devyns?" i asked, she was on a trip for a while. Now shes back

"Sure" he said

I directed him to where Devyn lives, it was really not far at all so it wasnt hard to give him directions. When we got to her house i thanked him and then went to the door and knocked. A few minutes later she answered looking excited.

"Melody!" she said pulling me into a hug

"Hi" i said

"God your getting big!" she said

"Yeah. Im having a girl" i said

"Seriously!?. Thats fucking amazing!" she said

"Mhm" i said

"Its so good to see you!, come in" she said

"Thanks" i said walking in and i shut the door behind me

"So what brings you here?" she asked

"I just wanted to see you. And bitch about my brother. Because you know how he is" i said sitting on her couch

"What did he do now?" she asked

"Basically said that Alex was gonna be a shitty father" i said

"What?!. He will be amazing" she said

"I know!. But heres the thing..." i said

"Oh no" she said sitting next to me

"He had valid points, i hate to say it but he did. But i really dont believe what he said but at the same time i do" i said

"No no no. Eli is fucking wrong!, Alex will be awesome to you and your little girl. I guess its just his brotherly nature to be like this but hes a fucking moron" she said

"Mhm" i said

"He is" she said serious looking me dead in the eyes

"Yeah" i said

I hungout and talked to her for a bit, it was nice to have some girl time to just talk about everything. Later she took me home and i saw Alex and Jacks cars in the driveway. I went inside and they were sprawled out on the floor with notebooks and a guitar, when they saw me they got excited.

"Babe!" Alex said

"Hey" i said

"So, hows my baby girl doing?" he asked

"Shes fine" i said

"Good. Did you end up spending time with Eli?" he asked

"No, i went to see Devyn" i said tearing up

"Whats wrong?" he asked

"Your...your never gonna leave us right?. Me and the baby?" i said

"What?. What the fuck brought this up?" he asked getting up

"Eli said your just gonna leave me for some fucking whore at a show. He doesnt think you'll stick around since were not married and whatnot. I hate to say it but the shit he said made sense" i said

"Oh god. No!, im never leaving you two!" he said pulling me into a tight hug

"Really?. I mean i know deep down i know you wont. But im all hormonal and what he was telling me just made so much sense!" i said crying

"Babe, you dont need to worry because i love you so much. I'll never leave you or our daughter ever. I fucking promise" he said

"Good" i said

"Trust me your never getting rid of me. I'll be with you for so long you might get sick of my presence" he said and i laughed

"I doubt i will" i said

"Good. By the way you gotta stop wearing clothes from my clothing line. Its just gonna turn me on more" he said

"Your so weird" i said

"Seeing my girl in my clothing line is just hot" he said kissing me

"Im still here" Jack said

"Leave. I wanna have sex with my lovely girlfriend" Alex said

"Uhm. No your not, im exhausted" i said

"Hah, someones sexually frustrated" Jack said

"Fuck you. Bitch" Alex said

"Your just mad because i can get laid and you can't" Jack said

"If you let me go so i can go pee, eat and change then maybe you'll get something special tonight" i said

"I like the sound of that" he said kissing my neck and he let me go

"Ugh, i never wanna be around you two again!" Jack said grossed out and we laughed and i went to the bedroom
