Best Places to Be a Mom

The next day i went to work, it was the same as it always is. After work i went to get some stuff from the grocery store, we were out of advil and i needed that shit because i was feeling crappy. When i got home i heard noise coming from the hall, i went down the hall and into the babys room and Alex and Zack were talking.

"Hey" i said

"Hey" they said

"So, what are you two talking about?" i asked

"Just figuring out how much crap we need for the baby" Alex said

"Ohh" i said

"Yep. You okay?, you dont look good" he said

"Mhm. Just a little tired. Over worked" i said

"Well i can fix that" he said

"Oh god Alex. No. No sex, im pregnant and tired and im just uncomfortable" i said

"I wasnt gonna say that!. But its a good idea" he said

"No its not. Think with your brain. What were you gonna suggest?" i asked

"A quiet little night in. Just the two of us, no sex at all" he laughed

"Oh...sounds good" i said

"I guess thats my que to leave. Its cool, i need to get ready to go to a family thing with Jill anyway. See you later" Zack said and left

"Okay lovely. Go get changed and put on a movie, im gonna make us tea" he said and i nodded and went to our room

I got changed into my Taking Back Sunday t-shirt and some bright yellow pajama shorts. I went out to the livingroom and looked through our movies, once i found my favorite i put it on and didnt start it yet. After a while Alex came in the room and sat next to me and gave me a cup.

"Thanks" i said

"Mhm. You look cute tonight" he said

"Thanks. Its nothing great. Just a band shirt and shorts" i said

"Well i love it" he said

"You love everything i wear" i said

"True. What movie are we watching?" he asked and i laughed

"Bridesmaids" i said

"Ive only ever seen the last five minutes of that" he said

"Well then be prepared to fucking love this. Its honestly hilarious" i said

"I hope so" he said

The movie was so funny, Alex was laughing as well before he ended up falling asleep. While he was sleeping i took it upon myself to make us some dinner, i just made pasta since it was quick and easy. After the food was done i woke Alex up from his little nap.

"Babe, get up" i said shaking him

"What?" he said

"Get the hell up. I made food" i said

"You did?" he asked

"Yes" i said

"Aww, you didnt have to. I was gonna cook. I just fell asleep" he said

"Well i did. Its just pasta but whatever" i said

"Ohh. Thanks" he said getting up

"Mhm, you look cute for just waking up" i said

"Thanks" he laughed messing with his hair and we walked into the dining room

"Like it?" i asked

"Its perfect" he said, it was far from that because it was just our two plates and two bottles of gatorade

"Its really not but thanks i guess" i laughed sitting down and he sat across from me

"I think its good. Its the thought that counts" he said

"Yeah" i said

"Besides your the pregnant one, I'm supposed to be the one making you dinner and being your bitch boy" he said and i laughed

"Yeah well i cant make you do everything" i said

"This is the time where you can make me do anything you want me to and you have a logical excuse" he said

"So im thinking. After this you wanna go take a night swim?" i asked

"Totally" he said

"Good" i said, its about 80 degrees right now so its fucking hot

The dinner was really good, im like the pasta master. After we ate i got changed into a bikini while Alex just went straight to the pool in his shorts. After i was changed i went outside and he was already in the pool, he motioned me to get in and i went over to the ladder.

"Wow, you look good" he said

"Thanks" i said getting in the water and going under to get my hair wet and then i came back up

"Your boobs look amazing in that" he said and i laughed

"Ugh, your such a little perv!" i said splashing him

"I take pride in that" he said coming over and he put his arms around my waist

"I love you" i said kissing him

"I love you to, hows little Gaskarth doing?" he asked

"Good" i said

"How long until we feel her kick?" he asked

"Soon. Like four months" i said

"Awesome!. I cant wait to feel it" he said

"Yeah" i said

"Can you feel it already?" he asked

"A little bit" i said

"Wow, thats amazing" he said

"Yep" i said

We swam around for a little while longer, it was so hot out and the pool was so nice. When we got out of the pool it was almost nine so i changed into pajamas and laid in our room to watch tv. After a while Alex walked in still in his wet shorts, i raised my eyebrow at him and he looked confused.

"What?" he asked

"Why are you still in those shorts?" i asked

"I havnt changed" he said going to lay down but i stopped him

"Dont!. Your fucking soaked, change" i said

"Fine" he said taking off his shorts and he put on a dry pair and then got in bed

"Nice to know you are cool with the neighbors seeing your dick" i said

"What?" he said

"The curtain is wide open, Mrs. Burns definitely saw your junk" i said Mrs. Burns is our neighbor across the street who waters her plants at night for some weird ass reason. She has a huge crush on Alex and shes like 55 and divorced. Her kids are like 16 and 18, its just super fucking weird

"Shit. As if she doesnt hit on me enough!" he said kind of embarrassed

"Poor little Lexi" i said laughing and i got up to shut the curtain

"Ughhh, i dont think i can look her in the face tomorrow without feeling so awkward" he said

"I can never look her in the face. Shes fucking weird" i said lying down and i felt what i assume was the baby moving. Alex noticed the weird look on my face

"You okay?" he asked

"Mhm, your kid is acting insane" i said

"Aww. Maybe if i sing to her she'll calm down" he said

"You really wanna?" i asked

"Yes!. I heard the baby likes it" he said

"Alright. Sing Jasey Rae?, ive had it stuck in my head all day" i said

"Sure" he said and started singing and the feeling started to go away slowly

"She seems to like it, shes not moving so crazily anymore" i said and he smiled and kissed me before going back to singing
