Best Places to Be a Mom

The next morning i got up and got ready for work. I had to wear a blouse type shirt, my other shirts were getting a bit tight. I went to work and was doing my daily routine and while i was typing up some stuff my boss came into my office.

"Hey Melody, can i talk to you?" my boss Lara said

"Yeah sure" i said

"So i heard that your pregnant" she said

"Mhm" i said

"Congrats!. You and Alex must be so excited" she said

"Thanks. And we are, were really excited" i said

"Good. Now to talk about what i came in here for. I was thinking since people love your work, maybe you can do like articles about your pregnancy" she said, i work for a feminine type of magazine

"About my pregnancy?" i asked

"Like you know. Let in on the craziness in your life" she said

"I see. So work on that and work on my articles about womens fashion and colors. That seems like a little to much" i said

"Yeah. So i was thinking you could just do the ones about your pregnancy" she said

"Oh. Uhm, sure. Yeah that sounds like fun!" i said

"Alright we'll put somthing in the next issue about the change, and of course we'll add your latest article" she said

"Sounds good" i said

"Alright, well get back to work. And congrats again" she said

"Mkay. And thanks" i said

"Of course" she said and left my office

The rest of the day went by like usual, nothing really exciting happened. When i left work it was raining like crazy so i had to drive extra careful. When i finally got home i walked in and Alex, Jack, Rian and Zack were all hanging out at the table playing Life.

"Hey guys" i said

"Hey" they said

"So, who's winning?" i asked

"Jack" Zack said

"Thats because im a fucking genius when it comes to this game" Jack said

"I think hes cheating" Alex said and Zack and Rian nodded

"Fuck you!. Im not cheating" Jack said

"Great to hear" i said

"So. How was your day babe?" Alex asked grabbing me and pulling me into his lap

"Good" i said

"Anything exciting happen?" he asked

"My boss wants me to write articles on pregnancy related shit now" i said

"Awesome, you'll be a pro at that" he said

"Mhm" i said leaning my head on his head

"You look so pretty today" he said kissing me

"Thanks" i said and he kept kissing me

"Eww, at the fucking table!?. Seriously!?. You two need to stop with the PDA" Jack said

"Fuck you, your just jealous" Alex said kissing me again and i pulled away

"Mm, not now. Im tired and uncomfortable" i said

"Yeah?. Hows bump doing?" he asked

"Fine" i said and he put his hands up my shirt to feel my stomach

"Seriously dude?, whats with you today. Ive never seen you so damn affectionate" Jack said

"Its not like im grabbing her boobs!" Alex said

"Still" Jack said and Alex rolled his eyes

"Im gonna go change and then make food" i said getting up off Alex

"Alright" Alex sighed and i laughed and went to our room

I changed into my grey sweatpants and a boner t-shirt. I went back to the kitchen and started to make food, i was making pasta since i had a crazy craving for it. While i was cooking Alex walked over to me and leaned against the counter.

"Hey" i said

"Hey, nice pajamas" he said

"Mhm. I stole your shirt by the way" i said

"Thats totally fine. It looks cute on you" he said and i laughed

"Thanks i guess. Whats with the compliments tonight?" i asked

"What i can't compliment my beautiful girlfriend?" he asked

"You can. I just feel like your going a little over board on the romance stuff tonight" i said

"Ehh" he said

"I think hes hoping to get some" Jack said

"What?!" i said shocked and Jack sighed

"Sex" he said and i rolled my eyes

"I know, im just surprised thats what his intentions are" i said

"Jack your gross. Besides, what makes you think thats what im thinking" Alex said

"Well is it?" i asked

"Well...yeah" he said innocently

"Well your not getting anything" i said and i could see the sad look on his face

"Good going fuck face. I could've persuaded her eventually" he said

"Doubt it" Jack said

"Hes right, you cant persuade me to do anything" i said

"You know, sex is healthy for the baby" Alex said

"Mkay, well im not into it and im not sure thats true. Leave me alone" i said

"You know its safe right?, the baby wont be hurt" he said putting his arms around me

"I know. Its not that, im just not in the mood. Leave me alone Alex, im not fucking kidding" i said

"Dude leave the poor girl alone" Rian said and Alex let me go

"Thank you Rian" i said

"Yeah thanks Rian" Alex said annoyed

"Now i know what my first article can be about. How to deal with your horny significant other during pregnancy" i said

"Son of a bitch" Alex whined walking away

Later that night after everyone left i wrote up my article while Alex watched football. After working on the article for a while i decided to go to bed, it was like almost ten and i was exhausted. A few hours later i was woken by Alex wrapping his arms around me.

"What the hell?" i said

"What?" he mumbled

"Get off" i whined

"Nope" he said kissing my shoulder

"If this is your way of trying to convince me to have sex, its not working" i said and he sighed annoyed

"Im not trying to fucking seduce you, im just cuddling with you because i love you. Is that so terrible. Fucking hell man" he said turning away from me

"Im sorry, its just hard to tell when you've been fucking attached to me all night wanting sex" i said

"Well i wouldnt ever wake you for that, you know that" he said

"You've done it before" i said

"Well i didn't just now. Especially not now when you need all the sleep you can get" he said annoyed

"Lex, why are you so irritable?" i asked

"Im just really, really tired" he said

"Go to bed" i said

"I am" he said and i cuddled up to him

"I love you, im sorry for being a bitch" i said

"Dont worry about it. Its fine" he said kissing my head
