I'm Not Okay

We had been staying with Billie and Adrienne about a week, and tonight was Saturday night, hence movie night. They sent me and Holly to the 'corner' store to pick up some popcorn since Joey and Jakob used all of the popcorn they had in a fight with Tre'.

We were almost back to the house when it started to drizzle.

"It's nothing, let's just hurry." Holly said as we intertwined our fingers and quickened our pace and ran for it. We laughed as it started to pour. I pulled Holly to a stop. I stared at her for a second as I pushed the hair out of her eyes and plunged in.

Her lips were wet from the rain and smooth like always. I ran my tongue against her bottom lip and she allowed me entrance. We played tonsil hockey for what seemed like forever before, the unimaginable. A loud honking tore us apart. Literally

There in front of us was a huge truck. We were frozen in place as it came barreling towards us. I could hear Holly's teeth chattering in fear and from the cold, and that sort of snapped me out of it just as the truck was about to hit us. I pushed Holly out of the street and then...
