‹ Prequel: Angel of Mine

Angels and Hunters.

I watched the change in you

HE found her outside the room that night, leaning over the railing cigarette between her made up red lips, he took a deep breath nervously before mustering the courage to talk to her, he anxiously pulled at his shirt in an attempt to straighten it out slightly before stepping towards her.

She turned and smiled at him,

"Hey Sam, thought you where asleep"

"No been having trouble doing that lately"

"Wanna talk about it?"

"It's easy to explain"

He muttered a sudden dark tone in his voice, he moved quickly towards her, his eyes changing as he did, he had her pinned to the railing, relishing the flash of fear that had contorted her pretty face, her eyes locked with his fear engulfing her stomach in painful knots, he lowered his face to hers and examined her features, every inch of her face was perfect, he watched as a tiny tear rolled over her perfect cheek bone and smiled at her using the very tip of his tongue to wipe away the offending tear, he could see her shake but remained close, he heard the breath catch in her throat as he clamped his hands around her skinny wrists and dragged her back in to the room, he shoved her body hard through the door slamming it loudly and locking it behind him, he watched as she stared at him her face pure white with fear, her mascara now running freely with the tears down her cheeks.

She stood still rooted to the spot watching his every move, she watched as his collected a few of his possessions, the colt, the journal and and her fathers blade, she could hear her pulse race through her body, she closed her eyes for a few seconds hoping to wake up again, praying that this wasn't real, he had helped her he stitched her leg up he had helped her father and he had turned, she couldn't help him, this sudden realization drew more tears from her eyes.

She gasped as he rushed towards her, his strong arm around her rib cage the angel blade to her throat, he ushered her out to Dean's empty car, he wrestled her roughly in to the back seat ignoring her cries for mercy as he slammed and locked her in, he climbed in to the front and tore off in to the night.

He sensed something was gravely wrong as they approached the motel by foot, he put a hand on the hunters broad shoulder,

"Somethings wrong"

"What?"

"Just trust me"

he rushed towards the room, slowing as he noticed the open door, he stopped abruptly, putting his arm out to stop Dean from entering, he entered the room slowly and cautiously, looking at the ruined surroundings, he saw the panic rush across deans face as he stormed through the room checking every crevice calling out for his brother and new found love.

HE stood in the middle of the room feeling helpless, clueless as to where they could have gone, as he and Cas stood in the heavy silence his mind was racing, his thoughts a jumble of nonsense, the piercing tone from his phone shattered the silence, he fumbled quickly releife sweeping his body as Sam's number flashed on the screen,

"Sammy!"

"Hey Dean?"

"Where are you?"

"I'm out with your girlfriend"

"What the hell Sam?"

"Don't worry we're having a...Scream"

Sam's voice trailed off as he held the phone in Adriel's direction making sure his older brother could hear her pained screams.

The angel watched as the colour left his best friends face, his own heart began to pulse harder as he realized his daughter may be in danger, he rushed to the bathroom to avoid Dean seeing his tears, he leaned over the sink his eyes closed tightly trying to stop the tears from falling, he took a few deep breaths to ease his churning stomach, he opened them slowly to see a familiar yellow powder on the side of the porcelain basin, he wretched knowing exactly what had happened to his friend and his daughter,

"DEAN!"

He ran in to the bathroom upon hearing the angels cry, to find him rubbing the powder between his thumb and forefinger, his eyes widened and his heart ached,

"He's got my little girl"

Dean nodded slowly trying to keep a hold of the rage that was building from the pit of his stomach.

She remained silent, blinking back the tears as the dark empty fields rolled past the window, her face sore from the tears she couldn't stop from falling, he kept glancing back at her with his inky black eyes it felt as thought hey where boring in to her soul, the scenery had taken a dramatic change, she looked around desperately for a sign as to where she was but with no avail, the car came to a sudden halt sending her body lurching forward, worry twisted her insides as he walked towards the rear passenger door, her body shook as she heard the metallic clank of the door opening , he leaned in and wrapped his hands around her skinny ankles with a sharp tug she hit the cold concrete ground, a sickening smirk still fixed on his lips as she begged him to let her go, her please went ignored as he lifted her by one arm forcing her to stand, a sudden surge of adrenaline shook her insides and in one swift movement she felt her knuckles collide with his cheek bone, she watched as he reeled back in awe of her own strength for a few seconds before running across the empty grounds weaving in and out of abandoned warehouses and factories, she could hear her heartbeat pounding in her ears as her breath became short, she rounded a corner losing her footing and sliding along the ground, she quickly scanned the scene looking for Sam, he was no where to be seen, she crawled behind a building, her shaking hands fumbling to get her phone from her pocket, she scrolled through her contacts list pressing the phone to her ear when she found Dean's number, silently praying he would pick up,

"Hey this is Dean, leave a message"

The tone sent her blood running cold,

"Dean it's me well it's Sammy he's turned, I need help please pick up...."

A dark shadow covered her, she glanced upwards to see Sam towering over her, he lifted her by her arm once more she screamed out as his fingertips dug in tot he already tender muscle, he tore the phone from her hand and threw it just a few feet away from them,

"You're only going to make this harder on your self if you keep misbehaving Adriel"

He cooed tauntingly

"Sam please, don't do this"

He sniggered a little before yanking her closer to him,

"Sweetie you're not in the position to be calling orders"

He dragged her back the way she came, breaking a heavy duty lock and thick chain with his one hand he pried a heavy door open, shoving her in to a large dark space and throwing her to the floor, she looked up at him tears clouding her vision,

"this will only hurt a little"

She flinched as a foot came quickly towards her face, she was met with darkness.
