Roomies

The next day i woke up a little before 9 and Alex was gone, he said his classes started today unlike mine that start tomorrow. I got ready and then had breakfast before going to explore the town. Later on i was sitting at a table in the commons sketching when i felt a tap on my shoulder, i looked over and it was Alex smiling very amused.

"Alex. Shit you startled me" i said

"Sorry, what are you drawing?" he asked

"Just random crap, trying to get some inspiration" i said

"Mind if i take a peek?" he asked

"Not at all. Nobody ever takes interest in my art" i said slidding the book to him

"Holy fuck, this is really good. Your really good at portraits" he said

"Thanks. I almost went for a art major but music just felt like the right thing for me" i smiled

"I see, well you wouldve been good in that major" he said

"Thanks" i said and he handed me my book

"So, question?" he asked

"Sure" i said

"I was talking to my friend Jack. I was wondering if you'd be cool with him coming to visit for the weekend" he said

"Sure" i said

"Really?. I mean if you dont want him to stay with us its totally fine, i understand" he said

"No trust me im okay with it" i said

"Really?" he asked

"Yes!" i said laughing

"Okay awesome, i promise you'll love him hes hilarious" he said and i laughed at the thought of it

--Fast forward to weekend--

Today was the day Alexs friend was coming to visit, i was pretty excited but anxious. Alex said hes really friendly but also a little crazy. I was sitting at my desk when i heard the door open, i looked up and Alex walked in with who im guessing is Jack.

"Hey" i said

"Hey. Jack this is my roommate Lila, Lila this is my best friend Jack" Alex said introducing us to eachother

"Hi" i said and Jack said it back

"So, were gonna go to the football game. Wanna join?" Alex asked

"Sure. But i no absolutely nothing about football, my family were more into baseball" i said

"Well lucky for your were fucking experts, come with us it'll be fun!" he said

"Alright" i said and we left to go to the game

We got to the game and sat on the very top row of bleachers, it was a little freaky being up so high but i ignored it. During the game Alex and Jack were super into the game, i guess football is their sport. Jack tried explaining stuff to me but i ended up just mixing everything up. After the game i drove us to get food at the place i saw the other day while i was out. We sat down and ordered our food and drinks and the talked while we waited.

"So that was fucking awesome, right?!" Alex said

"Yes!. Poor Lila was so lost" Jack said

"Sorry we cant explain shit well" Alex said

"Its fine. I still had fun" i said

"Good" he said

"Yeah" i said

"So Jack. Hows everything back in Maryland?" Alex asked Jack

"Fine. Were all just trying to get through college, we wanna make music dammit!" Jack said

"Wait a minute, what?. You two make music?" i asked

"Yes we do!. We have a band, were awesome" Jack said

"Thats cool!" i said

"Yeah, we got a record deal" Alex said

"What!?. Then why are you here?!" i said and he laughed

"Our parents made us go to college for somthing just so we'd have something to fall back on. Thankfully the label said whenever we were ready we could get signed and tour. They really want us" he said

"Thats fucking amazing!" i said

"Mhmm" he said

We continued talking while we waited for our food, they were seriously two of the funniest guys ive ever talked to. After we ate we went back to the campus and back to our dorm room. Alex was busy showing Jack somthing so i started to finish up my drawing i started, while i was doing that Jack came and sat next to me.

"Wow, your really good at drawing" he said

"Thanks" i said

"Her portraits are really fucking awesome" Alex said

"Really?. Will you draw me?" Jack asked me

"Sure" i said

"Draw me like one of your french girls" he said lying on our floor and we all laughed

"Dumbass" Alex said and tossed a pen at Jack
