Roomies

The next day i was really busy with class, i had class at 8 am and then had classes randomly through out the day and obviously had other stuff to do. After i was all done with everything for the day i went back to my room and Alex was lying on the floor with stuff out in front of him.

"Hey" i said closing our door with my foot

"Hey, busy day?" he asked

"God yes. Crazy like you wouldnt believe, you?" i asked dropping my bag on my bed

"Mhm, i had a test and i have like three projects due and two papers. So combine that with all my classes i have. Sleep will be non existent this week" he said

"Shit that sucks" i said

"Yep. What about you?" he asked

"Nothing to crazy, i just have two papers due and then my typical homework" i said

"Lucky" he said

"Yep. So i was thinking about going to get food and then go to the library to work on some of this. Wanna go with me?, homework is less painful when you do it with another person" i said

"Im not hungry. But i'll totally go with you anyways to do homework together, just let me make tea" he said

"Alright, im gonna change quick" i said and he nodded getting off the floor

I went to my closet and changed out of my skinny jeans and flowy blouse and put on my purple wide strap tank top and leggings. We went down to get food and while i ate Alex texted someone, he looked annoyed while texting but i didnt bother asking what was wrong. We got to the library and started working on all our stuff.

"Okay so i need to know if you know how to do physics?" he asked me

"Yes i do" i said

"Oh my god, you do?!. Help me please?" he said passing me his paper

"Sure" i said looking over the problem and then i explained it to him and he looked so happy to figure it out

"Thank you so much!" he said excited, he looked kinda adorable all excited

"Of course" i said

"I hate physics, its so hard its fucking ridiculous" he said

"I know its stupid, im so glad im like a genius when it comes to that" i said

"Mmm lucky you. What are you working on?" he asked

"A essay" i sighed holding up my notebook

"On?" he asked

"Just about the studio and a producers job" i said

"Trade?. I'd rather write a essay" he said

"I wish i could trade" i laughed

"Maybe you can produce my bands first album some day, im sure you'll work for a big recording studio" he said

"That'd be amazing" i said

"Yes it would" he said and i smiled thinking about my future

We stayed for a little while longer and then around 7 we headed back to our room. We continued working on our stuff, we both had so much crap going on in our classes. Alex went to bed a little after 10 and i stayed up, i wasnt tired and i was really focused on my writing. The next morning i woke up late and panicked to get ready. I got changed and ran to my first class and walked in with everyone looking at me.

"Lila, nice to see you decided to join us" my teacher said

"Im sorry im late but i was up late doing work" i said

"Well its great to hear that you actually care about your studies but get to sleep a little earlier tonight" she said

"I will" i said

"Were splitting into groups today, im putting you with Michael" she said pointing to Michael who just waved. He looked to be about 5'9 and had dark red hair and had shorts and a t-shirt on

"Sounds good" i said and she told us to get to work and i moved to sit next to Michael

"Hi, im Lila" i said

"Michael, obviously. Glad to see i got a low maintenance partner, cant stand the high maintenance girls. I can tell your not gonna be afraid to get a little messy" he said raising his eyebrow at me, were in science

"What makes you think im not high maintenance, i could be a total neat freak perfectionist" i said leaning on my elbow and put my cheek in my palm

"Your not dressed like you are" he said

"Well your correct im not. But i normally dress a little nicer, just in a rush this morning" i said

"Good to know" he said tapping his pencil on the desk

After class was over i had classes the rest of the day that kept me busy, i had a crazy schedule but i liked it that way. Kept me busy. Around 5 i was finally done and headed to my building when i heard my name being called, i turned and saw Michael.

"Hey" i said

"Hey, you busy?" he asked

"Not at all, why?" i asked

"Just thought we could hangout. Get to know one another" he said

"Well i was just about to go see what my roommate was up to and then i dont know what the hell im doing. I guess you can come up with me" i said

"Cool" he said and i led him to my room

I felt a tad bit weird about letting him come with me to my dorm, we just really met today even though we've been in class together since day one. But there was something about him that i felt i could trust. We got into my room and Alex was sitting on his bed with glasses on and reading something on his laptop that seemed to have his full attention.

"Hey, im back" i said

"Hey" he said

"So this is Michael my partner for science, Michael this is my roommate Alex" i said introducing them to eachother

"Hey man" Alex said shaking his hand

"Hey. So they let you two room together?" Michael asked

"Guess so" i laughed

"Nice. My friend has a girl roommate, wish i could've gotten one" he said

"Yeah" i said

"So what are you two up to?" Alex asked

"Nothing i wanted to see what your doing. Clearly reading something interesting" i said, god those glasses are so good looking on him

"Something about space. I love space" he said

"You would, i didnt know you had glasses" i said

"They're for reading, i dont use them much" he said

"Nice" i said

"I look fucking stupid dont i?" he asked

"No!, you look fine" i said

"Cool. Well you guys wanna go catch a movie?" he asked shutting his laptop

"Sure" we said and started to head out of the room when Alex stopped me

"Yes?" i asked

"I hope you dont have any intentions on dating him" he said referring to Michael

"What?!. Of course not, i just met him" i said

"Good. Hes not your type at all" he said

"And you know what my type is?" i asked raising my eyebrow at him and crossing my arms

"Of course i do!, your my roommate. Im a observant person i can tell what you probably look for in a man and its not him" he said putting his arm around my shoulder

"Nice" i said

"Come on you two" Michael said and me and Alex followed him out
