I wonder
where
my mom is.

my dad is.

I know they have just
left me behind
with someone that
doesn't care about me,
but I love them.

I hope they love me
too.

The thing about them is
that they never for a second
realized that they
were supposed to be at
home,
with me.

They leave me here
with the woman who they call
a failure
behind her back.

I hope my aunt knows
that I love her
too.

My parents don't realize
I have all the love in the world
in my heart
because there is no space
taken up by
friends.

They travel the world
without me
because they don't want to
bear the
responsibility
of a child.
