A Part of the Team

I sat there not knowing what to do or say I mean how do you say my step-brother is my own personal stalker, abuser, and nightmare. January 20th being the worst day of life how was I going to even explain it. My thoughts where cut short by Eaton asking
"Hey what did she say?"
"Oh nothing, nothing its fine."
"Are you sure? are you going to drink you drink?"
"Oh, no I don't- I don't drink anymore. Does someone else want it?"
Whitney said he could take it and then proceeded to say that I had good alcoholic taste. Great now I needed to know how I was doing to get out of here with out being noticed by Aiden. I tapped Dupuis on his arm and told him
"That guy over there can't see me leave because he will follow me any suggestions?"
"Which guy?"
"The one who bought me a drink I know him from the past and I will explain later. Listen I know I barley know you guys but he- he scares me please just get me out of here."
"Well you can just stay at someone else's house if it would make you feel more comfortable."
"No, no I mean I have my own responsibilities at my home."
"Here I will drive you home I promise nothing well ever happen to you because you are now apart of our family. Okay?"
I nodded and told everyone I was tired and had to go home. He drives me to my apartment complex and said "So explain."
"There is no need to explain."
"You said later well its later and its not like I will tell everyone, you remind me of my daughters and what I want them to be like persistent but kind at the same time."
I laughed and said "That guy was my step brother Aiden, he doesn't like me very much."
He nodded and made sure I was going to be okay. I got in my apartment only to find the whole place wrecked. I didn't want to cry. I promised my self I wouldn't. That was when I called the only family I had left,
"Hey John I need I ride and a new life."
"What's up Alyssa?"
"Its ruined, everything is ruined."
"I will send the designated driver to come to your apartment okay? Just stay calm."
About 2 minutes later someone walked next to me and wrapped there arms around me and just continued to cry and couldn't even speak. After I finally stopped balling my eyes out I looked up to see Crosby. I led him up to my apartment to show him why I was upset. He hugged me and said
"Its okay we are your family now we wont let this happen again okay?"
I shook my head and he dropped me off at Cooke's house since he knew I would be safe there and for once even though I only knew these people for 1 to 2 days the have loved me more than anyone in my entire life.
