In Too Deep

Chapter 2

Vic hastily pulled the cord to his binds. He couldn't wrap it around in his head why Kellin fucking Quinn was staring at him through his bedroom window. He also notice that Kellin hadn't been wearing a shirt and a perfect layer of sweat had formed over his chest making him look absolutely de-
"Ah, stop it Vic! He would never be interested." Vic whispered to himself. He ran his hands through his messy hair. He pulled at the end of the brown curls contemplating whether he should straighten it or not. He shrugged. First day back after, well, you know and Vic wasn't really up for impressing anyone. He started to looking around for his beanie when he saw tiny rocks coming through his blind covered but still very open window. He pulled on the cord revealing a still shirtless Kellin stopping in mid throw of a pebble.
"Um, hey?" Kellin flashed Vic his perfectly white smile that would have left any girl on their knees. Vic rolled his eyes.
"What do you want?" Kellin smile quickly disappeared as he realized the harshness coming through Vic's words. Kellin shrugged his shoulders causing all of his muscles to tense. Vic thought his jaw was on the ground. Kellin looked amazing. Vic turned his head so Kellin couldn't see the blush creeping up his cheeks. He body looked as if it was sculpted by God himself. There is such definition to the lean muscles that stretch over Kellin's body and with the little bit of sweat that was still there brought the whole image to a new level.
"I just wanted to talk to you." Vic whipped his head back around. Kellin was looking at his lap but he suddenly look straight up into Vic's eyes. "That's okay with you, right, Vic?" Kellin cocked his head to the side. Vic found it to be the most adorable thing he has ever seen Kellin do. He felt his face heat up considerably. What should he say?
"I, uh, w-well..." Vic took a deep breath. "I don't really want to spend my morning talking to the shirtless boy next door." Kellin laughed. He had a nice laugh. Oh god damn it Vic! Snap out of it.
"I could say the same to you." Vic's face scrunched up in confusion.
"But I'm not-" Vic stopped short when he saw Kellin's eyes trial once again down his body. That's when he felt it. The cool Febuary chill going over his shirtless torso. Vic felt like he wanted to scream but being the manly man he is he grabbed the thing that was closest, bed sheets. Vic groaned as he heard the music of Kellin's laugh flowing freely.
"Y-ou s-shoul-d see y-your f-face." Kellin got out between laughing and trying to catch his breath. He has to admit though even though Vic had those scars, he still has a beautiful body. Kellin watched a Vic took his hand and smacked his face.
"I feel like a cheating wife who just got walked in on." Vic cracked a little smile. That was the first smile Kellin had seen from Vic since freshman year. "Listen can you just tell me why you were throwing rocks in my window so I can get ready for school." Kellin shrugged again leaving Vic no choice but to look at his face. And what a nice f- Nope stop it Vic.
"I wanted to see if you wanted to walk to school with me." Kellin said it so nonchantly. So many questions were running through Vic's mind. What if he's doing this to get Vic hurt? What if his friends are waiting around a corner? From outside his thoughts he heard Kellin say something. Vic made a light hum in his throat signaling that he didn't hear him. "So will you?" Vic glanced at Kellin, looking into his eyes. Does he trust him?
"Um, sure." He saw Kellin smile so big that the corner of his eyes scrunched up. Vic felt himself slipping up to reveal a very small, but still noticeable, smile. Maybe today wasn't going to be so bad after all.
"I'll meet you by the mailboxes in, lets say, twenty minutes?" Vic nodded. Vic went to close the blinds. "Oh Vic?" Vic stopped the blinds from coming down over the conversation. "Don't say I threw rocks in your window. I prefer pebbles. Sounds more romantic." With that Kellin winked and made his way away from the window. Vic, meanwhile, thought his body was going to burst into flames by how flattered he was.
"So Kellin Quinn?" Vic whirled around to find his younger brother, Mike, standing in the doorway.
"You scared the hell out of me! Don't sneak up." Mike gave a little smile before walking over, towering over his old brother. He reach his hand out to brush over Vic's hips.
"Did he see?" Vic smack his hand away. He grabbed the nearest shirt. Vic felt his knuckles rub against the scabs as he finished tugging the shirt over him.
"I don't think so." Vic frowned. Barely anyone has seen him without a shirt, what made him forget that he wasn't wearing one around Kellin. "I don't know Vic maybe you we distracted!"
"Wait what?" Mike looked over at his brother. Vic widen his eyes. He wasn't meant to say that out loud. He knew his brother noticed his blush even with his tan features. Mike started to laugh. "You have got to be kidding me. You have a crush on Quinn!" Mike started clutching his sides.
"N-no I-I don't!" Vic cursed his stuttering when he's embarrassed. "I just find him attractive without a shirt on." Vic shrugged an started heading over to the dresser to grab his black beanie. He didn't feel like straightening his hair.
"Wait until the guys hear this. They always thought you had a thing for Kellin." Vic ran to his brother before he could go out his bedroom door, grabbing his arm, and holding on with all his strength.
"No Mikey! I will never hear the end of it if you do!" Mike scoffed and shook his older brother off.
"Like they aren't going to be suspicious why you are walking with Quinn on the first day back instead of us. You are going to have the whole schools eyes on you." Vic's face paled. He hadnt thought about that. Maybe he should just call off the whole thing and not walk with Kellin. He couldn't do that though. He would feel like a grade A jerk. Vic shrugged at his brother.
"I can't just leave him." Vic said in a small voice.
"Whatever. It's your descion hermano. I'm going to get some breakfast. Want any?" Vic shook his head. Mike looked at Vic with pleadin eyes. "You have to eat some time."
"Well now isn't that time." Vic snapped. He instantly felt bad. "I am sorry Mikey. I didn't mean it. Just go." Vic made his way towards the bathroom connected to his bedroom. Mike frown at his brother's actions.
"Vic, please don't do that. Please." Vic shook his head as he started to close the door.
"I'm just going to take a piss. Relax hermano." Vic closed the door the rest of the way. Mike looked at the door one last time before making his way downstairs for breakfast. The only thing Mike wanted for his older brother, was to be happy. Maybe Oli was right and Kellin could save Vic. Or maybe Kellin was just playing Vic.
"I have to figure out his intentions." Mike whispered to himself. His mother smiled at him as shoveled pancakes on his plate. He would do anything for his older brother.
