When Nikkelle Mercer found herself minus a boyfriend, her best friend Darah English was there to offer her a place to stay, as long as she didn't mind leaving Baltimore, Maryland for San Diego, California. Nikki, as most people called her, jumped at the chance for a new start and off she went to the state of California, where she eventually meets a whole new group of friends.
